𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐚 𝟕, el dúo de Tenerife formado en 1996, lanza su nuevo vinilo bajo el sello discográfico 𝟏𝟑𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐲𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬. Este EP titulado “𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐉𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐬” consta de 2 canciones originales que fueron editadas anteriormente por distintas discográficas, ademas se incluyen nuevos remixes de ambas pistas.

En la 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐀, los oyentes pueden disfrutar de una auténtica obra de arte junto a la cantante 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐣𝐞𝐫𝐨. Esta pista se titula “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞” y fue lanzada bajo el sello discográfico 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬 en el año 2000.

En el caso de “The Voice”, 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐦 𝐕𝐲𝐭 y 𝐀𝐠𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐧𝐞𝐬 logran darle un toque más actual, recreando los pianos de manera magistral y añadiendo ácidos que le dan un toque fresco y moderno. La base de ritmos marcada le da aún más energía, convirtiéndola en un verdadero bombazo en las pistas de baile.

La siguiente pista, titulada originalmente “𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝟕”, se encuentra en la 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐁 del vinilo. Sin embargo, debido a un error en el diseño de la contraportada, esta aparecía como “𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐮𝐩” en lugar de “Planet 7”. La canción fue editada en el año 1998 bajo el sello 𝐇𝐞𝐲𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬.

𝐆 𝐔 𝐀 𝐔 , dueño del sello discográfico 𝟖𝟑, se encarga de remezclar “Planet 7” y nos muestra su toque personal en esta pista. Destaca la línea de ácidos que crea un ambiente psicodélico y las baterías contundentes que le dan un impulso extra. Ha logrado crear una versión potente y llena de energía que seguramente será un éxito en cualquier evento.

En resumen, las remezclas de “The Voice” y “Planet 7” a cargo de los productores Andaluces Adam Vyt, Aggresivnes y GUAU son simplemente espectaculares, añadiendo un toque fresco y moderno a ambas pistas y asegurando que el público no podrá resistirse a bailar al ritmo de estas nuevas versiones.

“Old Jewels” es una oportunidad para los fanáticos de Sigma 7 de revivir estas canciones y disfrutar de la calidad musical de este dúo Tinerfeño. Con su estilo único y la colaboración de Esther Ovejero en “The Voice”, este EP promete ser un éxito entre los amantes de la música Breaks Old School.

Second release since the relaunch... this time we remixed 2 tracks that were d&b tracks originally by us on our Sonix d&b label (SONIX001). Tech Itch and JRaq also did d&b remixes of these tracks on Sonix (SONIX004). This version of 'Lords Of Motion' is one of the best tracks we have done I think and I still love mixing it in in a club, 12 years later!

This was when we were out on a limb. We were just smashing out the 'bassline breaks' as it would be termed in 2003. We didnt have any other artists to call upon as no one else was making music like this then. So the first set of releases were by us and the mysterious Masterblaster.

Our first remix package on the newly rebranded Passenger label. The Autobots were inspired to start making breaks after driving back to Manchester from London whilst listening to our 'Beat The System' album. The first The Freestylers breaks tune as Raw As Fuck sampled the beats from our remix of 'Lord Of the Null Lines'. So it was obvious we should ask these fine producers to remix our music... now there is a bit more of a movement in the 'bassline' scene and we arent on our own anymore!
