Finding your sound as a musician is a long and hard journey. We have been making music together for almost 10 years now, whether it was with our garage rock band or as music producers. We have experimented with everything from dubstep to moombahton and after years of searching we think we are starting  to get close to finding our true sound. That is what Explorers is about. For all those times we had to fight the uphill battle with writers block and self doubt, for all those time we chose to make what we truly loved and not just what was trendy at the moment. This track is very special to us and it is dedicated to all those musicians out there trying to find their sound. Keep going and always stay true to yourself. #wearesolstis

I was (and still am) absolutely tired of hearing the same sound repeated so I decided to try and make something different and push myself.

this track was such a whirlwind in creation between getting the vocals in the 11th hour (which somehow fit better than anyone could have hoped for) and having it finished in 6 days.
