Oxlee is a self-taught R&B-pop artist that found his passion for music at the very early age of 10 years old. Moving across the world at an early age, his constant focus has been on his music. Growing up with a single mum with no father figure, Oxlee has poured his heart and soul into his work and is determined to share his passion and talent with the world. Since moving continents, the artist has been heavily involved in making a difference through the power of music, reaching out to others who have dealt with similar experiences. Oxlee has been developing his sound by working with producers across Australia and collaborating with other artists, constantly finding new people and inspirations to influence his musical direction. His unique style of music is heavily influenced by Tobi Lou, Michael Jackson and the ever-growing rise of the K-Pop industry. 

With his first live show at Big Sound 2019, the local Brisbane artist hopes to inspire people to embrace the person they are and not let society hold them down. Whether that's through music or his “out there” personality, the London born musician experiments with various different styles and continues to break musical boundaries which sees to appeal to wide groups of people. Oxlee wants his story to help people overcome the judgement and self-doubt that a lot of people go through, just as he once did.
