@Sunlightsquare’s first single of 2017, Oyelo, is a mixture of Jazz, Cuban and House music in its most authentic form. Starting with moody latin-jazz piano and sun-drenched live percussion played by master percussionist Giovanni Imparato, the track is driven by the classic house beat of the TR-909 - the legendary 1980's drum machine. Ronnie Scott’s resident Cuban singer Rene Alvarezdelivers the impassioned vocals, followed by the main man Claudio Passavanti’s heated Montuno piano riffs, which combine seamlessly to create a blissful, dance-floor experience. It's a perfect marriage of organic grooves, lush beats and soulful vocals, joining the dots between different generations of latin dance music.

Après le succès de leur premier EP qui a été épuisé en un mois, Cotonete revient avec leur  second vinyle (d'une serie de trois).

Constitué de membres des groupes Akalé Wubé (Ethio Jazz), Camarao Orchestra (Brésil) et le pianiste Florian Pellissier, ce nouvel EP contient le titre "Earth overshoot day" ainsi que des remixes par Hugo LX, Vox Low et Patrice Scott.

Comme son premier volet le disque sera disponible dans un packaging vinyle Deluxe (Pochette et OBI japonais, vinyle 180g) et en édition limitée à 500 exemplaires, en collaboration avec le disquaire parisien, habitué des ondes du Mellotron, Heartbeat vinyl.

A track that really holds your attention with its emotion & craft. The swirling phased chords, staccato synth hook and subtle guitars really hit you in the feels, paired up with bone dry disco drums and a thumpy kick. As key members of the infamous CoOp collective, they have been flying the flag for the UK's broken beat revival, turning heads with their intensely soulful productions. Supporters include the likes of Gilles Peterson, Bradley Zero and many more.
 
'Moments In Soul' and 'Just flow' are two exuberant masterclasses in how to create a joyful edit. STheir broken beat background shines through in the meticulous drum programming, giving the performance a natural, live feel and setting it apart from others in it's class. Syncopated rhythms, celebratory chords and relentlessly energetic basslines feature throughout - creating a groove so powerful you can't help but be spirited away to the dance floor.

Delfonic from Berlin, a busy guy that will hit you with his experienced, flawless flow and the skills of a Hip Hop veteran but an open-minded music taste including soulful grooves from new jazz vibes, underground Disco, American House, Breaks and Afro Grooves.

With a history in digging and an unquestionable love for music, Markus Lindner, a.k.a. Delfonic, is one of the most versatile and informed DJ as they come.

He used to be the key character concerning music knowledge in Berlin. After a long decade at  OYE records store he left the business to become a 100% touring DJ and also to do a series of Dance Jazz Edits (Illegal Jazz) which create a massive buzz in the new house and funky dance world (support from Gilles Peterson, Honey Djoon and many others)

Delfonic applies his broad knowledge of music styles to almost any setting, and is renowned for blending multiple genres, eras and disciplines throughout his sets. An open-minded talent, with an uncompromising approach to DJing, he employs a style schooled from an upbringing in hip-hop. Delfonic is the model DJ - he’ll warm the crowd up, get them dancing and then provide the scope and context that will keep the heads on board.
