I.M.D. is Marco Cajero (Mexico, based in Berlin, Germany). I.M.D began in 2012, initially exploring Progressive-Psy sounds. In 2016, he shifted his focus to Psychill and Downtempo Psychedelia, crafting melodic, slightly psychedelic, and groovy music. His creations, made from the heart, aim to bring listeners an experience of joy and love.  I.M.D's first two albums were released on Altar Records, and he continues to release music on labels like Mystic Sound Records, Astropilot Music, Arcelya Records, and Ovnimoon Records. Coming to electronic culture at the age of less than 18, he acquired his knowledge at the first raves in the era of vinyl and actively attending all the top events of that time and absorbing the trends of various musical styles and cultures. Becoming more and more famous in Moscow crowd, he found out about 2 informal capitals of the "electronic underground" - Goa and Koh Phangan, and in addition to domestic events, since 2013 he began to gain his musical expirience in Asia and India. One thing can be said - each musical voyage with his music is an unusual journey - an adventure, flavored with samples / unusual loops and delivering bright emotions, regardless of the musical style he plays.

My Musical Journey
----------------------------

After a lifetime immersed in trance & various forms of electronic music, my creative journey began back in 2009 when I started learning to DJ. Not long after I began playing PsyTrance sets for the MerKaBa Tribe parties & festivals across Jersey & the Channel Islands, which felt amazing, seeing so many happy smiley people, dancing, laughing, connecting….I wanted more :)

Pretty soon after, I turned my focus towards my real passion, the wonderful world of psychedelic chill out. This music has done so much good for me, I struggle to put this into words. It has lifted my broken spirit more times than I can remember, in ways that feel deeply healing & nourishing. This was it, this was what I wanted to focus on, creating musical journeys that help heal & nourish us, help recalibrate & come back to ourselves in this crazy, crazy world. If I can even help one person then that is enough.

My ‘Dreamtime Diaries’ series of psybient / psychill mixes is a great example of this work, covering all facets of the psybient world. Around 2017, I lowered the tempo again, creating ambient journeys for use in mediation, yoga, treatments, ceremony or any other situation where genuine immersion into the moment is required.

Around 2012, I branched out into music production. In 2016 I released my debut EP, and have been creating weird or wonderful sounds since then. Also in 2016, I co-founded the Unity Tribe Collective which hosted local trance parties, with the intention of bringing the local community together. Currently I am enjoying playing a monthly chill out radio show for Widgeon Airwaves & am working towards my latest EP, which will hopefully be out later this year.

From frequencies and vibrations to soundscapes and harmonies, music offers a new dimension of reality. Let the endless rhythm and vibrant melodies take you on a journey of inner exploration.
