Winter Solstice 2024.

From now on, we are heading back to the Lighter side of Life again.

Putting out a winter solstice mix has now become a tradition for me. It is the most important milestone of the year. A cosmic alignment inspiring pagan a christian traditions. The celebration of light is the biggest celebration there is, also it is time for the deepest contemplation. A time when we need to face our inner shadows. Let's do it with style, openness and in a chilled manner.
These tunes have been the sonic inspiration and the audible backdrop for the last few months for me and have been great allies to get into the right flow every day.

After first traveling in India in 2005 , Tikki Masala was inspired by the deep flavors of authentic Indian classical music. in he's productions he blends together sounds of Indian classical instruments like Sitar, Tabla, Santoor, Sarod, Flute, Tanpura, Harmonium and Vocals ... with beats, synthesizers, drums and percussion. Recordings made across India from Bhajans, Kirtans, Mantras, street musicians, fellow travelers, jam sessions, concerts, nature and temple sounds are mixed together with psychedelic hypnotic electronic sounds, rhythms and bass lines.

After some time the music evolved to world Beat, tribal, ethnic, Downtempo, Native Beat, fusion, dance music with influences from all over the world. He is playing a lot of he's creations at ecstatic dance events.

The interest in dance became more present, when he discovered Ecstatic dance and other forms of dance, and found that dancing was so beneficial for the personal, emotional, physical and spiritual development, opening up and discovering the freedom and authenticity. There was a call to start organizing, facilitating and play at ecstatic dance events in India at The Source Arambol, Thailand, Europe Russia. And share with others, what was for him such a beautiful exploration and growing in the being through movement and Dance.

Dreamtime Diaries Vol 16 - The Ambient Yoga Edition Part II (Ceremonial Sounds)

This is a recording of a Special Mantra Edition ECSTATIC DANCE Journey that has been in my heart for long and finally manifested on September 2020 @ Jaran’s - Koh Phangan -Thailand
I prepared a folder with 108 tracks that included somehow Mantras in them and played on the fly selecting from them (and mixing a lot!!) Realised after that due to the limited time I did not play a lot of very nice ones (especially toward the end when i wanted to go higher!! :) ) and so reserved them for the next one!!
Got a really good response from the dancers who immediately asked to have more of that.
Super good vibe on the Dance Floor thanks to all of the great artists present in this set and to the dancers who really helped a lot to create a Magical Energy!!

Muroomix&Mumantra a.k.a Murat Sener, Im, from South East Turkey, Since 1995 i m Playing, recording, producing and  mixing.   Muroomix is my producer name and Mumantra is my dj name,     
Since 2008 I m leaving in Sweden. 
90.s Istanbul where my music journey start,  
as a guitarist in a kurdish folkrock band, as a bassist and songwriter in my band Gundian. Our spiritual journey brought  as to a village, south cost of Turkey, there we get chance to go deeper on  sufi divine trans music then the contemporary music of the 90s blended in.  In 20s i met with electronic music and everything fell in place.
I love to be with music, as a storyteller, as a player, as a dj. Psydelic, ambient, psychill, psybient, downtempo, psydub, world, chillout, tribal trance, mantras, freestyle, organic house… I like to mix organic tunes with electronic beats and if i feel like, add some live vocal, synth, guitar, clarinet. drum maskin, sampler, and remixes.  I dream about build a bridge from dance floor to divine, where we are all one…

My Musical Journey

After a lifetime immersed in trance & various forms of electronic music, my creative journey began back in 2009 when I started learning to DJ. Not long after I began playing PsyTrance sets for the MerKaBa Tribe parties & festivals across Jersey & the Channel Islands, which felt amazing, seeing so many happy smiley people, dancing, laughing, connecting….I wanted more :)

Pretty soon after, I turned my focus towards my real passion, the wonderful world of psychedelic chill out. This music has done so much good for me, I struggle to put this into words. It has lifted my broken spirit more times than I can remember, in ways that feel deeply healing & nourishing. This was it, this was what I wanted to focus on, creating musical journeys that help heal & nourish us, help recalibrate & come back to ourselves in this crazy, crazy world. If I can even help one person then that is enough.

My ‘Dreamtime Diaries’ series of psybient / psychill mixes is a great example of this work, covering all facets of the psybient world. Around 2017, I lowered the tempo again, creating ambient journeys for use in mediation, yoga, treatments, ceremony or any other situation where genuine immersion into the moment is required.

Around 2012, I branched out into music production. In 2016 I released my debut EP, and have been creating weird or wonderful sounds since then. Also in 2016, I co-founded the Unity Tribe Collective which hosted local trance parties, with the intention of bringing the local community together. Currently I am enjoying playing a monthly chill out radio show for Widgeon Airwaves & am working towards my latest EP, which will hopefully be out later this year.
