Next up in our Record Club guest mix series is Project Gemini, aka Paul Osborne. Earlier this month we released his debut album 'The Children Of Scorpio'. The response to that release has been fantastic! Highly recommended for fans of European library music, acid folk, psych-funk, vintage soundtracks and the contemporary breaks scene. Paul has put together an enthralling mix that includes exclusive edits and reworks...

“I wanted to put together a mix that was focused on sounds, the things I hear on records that I aspire to when I’m working on my own recordings. Whether it be a raw nasty guitar, a heavy drum break, a beautiful melody or some kind of backwards tape wizardry, I like getting lost in the layers of a record and revelling in the emotional connection I get from the production and sonics of something. It’s not meant to be some super cool list of obscurities, rather just tracks (and artists) I love that I can get lost in and that make me want to plug in and play. As a thanks to everyone for their support for The Children Of Scorpio album I also thought it would be fun to throw in a couple of exclusive edits/reworkings of tracks from the album that I hope you’ll dig. Mr Bongo Record Club Guest Mix - Project Gemini

SimfOnyx return to Delights with a new genre-bending double-sider.

The Haifa-Jerusalem duo SimfOnyx (Shuzin and Markey Funk) is unleashing another pair of tunes recorded in the same session as their previous instalment, "Der Maulwurf/Eolomea". Just like on their earlier releases, the two continue expanding their sound, crossing and connecting different genre territories under the wide umbrella of cinematic, psych-spiked grooves. This time, Markey and Shuz are channelling the free spirit of West German library kings Klaus Weiss and Peter Thomas to reflect on current political events in their home country. The dark and dubby slow-burner "Putsch. Teil Eins" ("Coup. Part One") is backed by the aggressive floor-smashing funk of "Widerstand" ("Resistance") on the flip.

Nektars debut album of the same name and “Psychedelic Psoul” by The Freak Scene! The mix features a vast variety of psychedelic grooves and styles from around the world! Dig!

So this is the B-side to the 45 that Kay-Dee records signed in 2012 but haven't put out yet. This happened due to Kenny Dope finding a CD I sent him in 2006. I've been told it might happen in 2017... 

All instruments played by me except Alex Kirkwood on drums, Georgina Carroll on flute and Dave Rush on sitar.
