Ubuntu is "the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity." Derived from the profound Nguni Bantu term meaning "humanity," it is often translated as "I am because we are," or "humanity towards others."

Ubuntu is an indigenous philosophy from Africa grounded in humanistic values and principles of solidarity, kindness, cooperation, respect, and compassion.

The original song "Ubuntu" composed by @kora-musique & @wuachuma gave life to a short film offering a mesmerizing visual narrative set against the breathtaking landscapes of West Africa in a coastal community of Ghana with local talent Roland Boakye acting as the main role alongside the involvement of a large amount of local participants who helped co-create a story of Ubuntu.

We are thankful for our talented friends from Québec Julian Thomas and Renaud Jacob who directed, filmed, and edited this cinematic journey of connection and evolution as the song became the soundtrack of a beautiful story of unity.

The video will be released on November 23, 2023.

We hope this project can help spread hope and remind us of our humanity and our interconnection.

We thank everyone who contributed to this project, especially the community of Ghana who participated in the film with so much authenticity.

Deep House Athens Mix #106 - Betsu (live at Crust, 28.10.23)

Andres Volta is making his Earthly Delights debut following music. This three-track release showcases his enchanting style which fuses sensual vocals and intricate melody with flowing percussion.

"Jaaka" has upbeat rhythms and a deep bassline that form a foundation for Arabic melodies and delicate vocals. "Sunflower Dance" closes out the release with trippy vocals and sweeping pads that weave between shuffling percussion.

Nehli is an American artist from Miami, and he joins the Earthly Delights roster.

All three of the tracks on this release are in the melody-driven style he is best known for, which fuses uplifting synths with stripped-back percussion to create immersive tracks with deep atmosphere.

Release thirty-five revisits The Little Things EP from Berlin producer Fabian Krooss with a package of three remixes, each putting a unique twist on the melodic and quirky originals. First up is Manjumasi label co-founder atish with a bouncing, dancefloor friendly take on Whopper. Solid pulsating bass energy and tasty shaker grooves keep the energy flowing throughout. Next is Belgian producer Hermanez with a masterful deep interpretation, whose airy pads and synths move into a more ethereal realm, creating a sense of movement and expansion. Finally, Berlin producer Kyong Sono (fka Kyongpaul) turns in a very heady take on The Little Things, really bringing the melodies and synthwork to the forefront over delicate percussion with a human touch and natural feel, a perfect one for the early evenings or slightly lower-tempo dancefloors.
