Doch diese motivierende Erfahrungs-Energie flacht irgendwann ab. Die Bonus-Power löst sich langsam auf und persönliche Kraftanstrengung wird wieder vermehrt benötigt. Was bleibt ist die Leichtigkeit und das Wissen um das Wie. Ist die Entscheidung für das Leben in Fülle gefallen, kommt alles andere wie von selbst.

Dear listener,
finally this year, I managed to see the man burn!
In the weeks and months before Burning Man a lot of my friends kept on telling me how amazing it was and most of them would conclude their eulogy with something like: „Burning Man changed my life“.
Well, I can not certainly say that Burning Man changed my life, but what I know for sure is that my life changed afterwards ;-)
Very glad that I made it to this far away place and I hope to return next year.
I want to thank Lio and everybody at our nice camp and of course the robots who invited me to let their hearts beat according to my pace. It has been truly amazing. 
The only thing I really had to struggle with, that Sunday morning on the Playa, was the sunlight that made it almost impossible to spot anything on the display, so please please please you geeks out there, come up with something that can work in sunlight, because we all love the sun!

Doob & Janoma im Hypnowald // Kultstätte Keller

Last year at my first Burning Man, the first thing we stumbled into at night was this place. White Ocean was our neighbour. In awe of the sound rig, the stage setup, this surreal "Apocalypse Now" dance ocean surrounded by raging flames, White Ocean's impression smacked me in the face. I told my friends: "Give me 3 years and i could play here ... right?". 

Getting asked by White Ocean a couple months later sparked this years burn planning.  The journey from Amsterdam to Black Rock needed to become a reality. 

Getting the opportunity to play this year, amongst so many talents & close friends & family i adore, was beyond great. Seth Schwarz & his violin joined half-way on the beautiful Budakid track.  As a bonus i got my "virgin" parents to come and listen. Hours before we surprised them with their 40th wedding anniversary ceremony at the lighthouse. The whole build up of this evening, the week, the magic and wildness that is the burn, is what i hear in the recording. Thanks everyone for contributing to the beautiful trip and hope you enjoy mine. 

An abundance of gratitude to the entire White Ocean family. Michael, George, Timur. Everyone felt right at home.

Here is the Set that i played at Fusion Festival on the Bachstelzenfloor this year. It is a quite different set from the last one. I played almost exclusively with short loops and not whole tracks, that way i sometimes would like a few more arms and hands to play, but am also able to be absolutely in the moment and create music that is exactly for that moment and those people in front of me. Playing Live is a huge challenge, but i am looking forward to keep developing and creating. 
Thanks for all the dancers and their vibes who made this what it is.
