I have a made an album in this style. And for this podcast I used a lot of elements or tracks of my new album.
I am happy to play at Next Monday Hangover festival. The deep melancholic, experimental, romantic approach to music of this festival is where I feel at home!
On the festival I will do an album liveset.

This set was filmed on September 20th, 2021 to align with the full moon equinox energy. The set is totally improvised between Janax Pacha and I. I have a collection of loops that make up the ingredients of the different tracks that we move through with the timing and weaving of these loops being totally improvised based on the energy of each unfolding moment.  We had no plan for which songs to explore and just did our best to tune in and listen to what wanted to come through. You can see us communicating here and there just to establish the key of the track and the bpm - beyond that the conversation is just through feeling the vibes.

The island behind us is called Es Vedra and it has quite a mythology around it and a reputation for being one of the most potent vortex points on the earth. With the combination of all of these energies, this set was incredibly powerful for those few of us present for us. When we finished I felt like I was journeying with an entheogenic substance. This for me is a beautiful sign that we journeyed to deep places and opened ourselves as channels for something meaningful and hopefully transformational to come through us as musicians. I can only hope that this journey offers something of meaning to you in your current process.

'Sacred Riddims' is an ecstatic-dance journey which includes devotional, melodic and tribal music from all over the world.

I am touched and grateful to witness how more and more people are called to join us, attend the whole journey, dance to music from all over the world, and later share so honestly about their experience.

I'm inspired to keep digging for musical treasures, make music, hold space and play at my event and around the world.

Sacred Riddims Ecstatic Dance 27.11.21

Boda de Muertos was an outstanding experience. Playing inside an hacienda in Atlixco with its high walls perfectly staged with the lighting was memorable. Everyone was dressed in their day of the dead outfits, and danced until sunrise.

Huge thanks to White Ocean for making one of my dreams a reality. This year was my very first Burn… And if you met me on the playa, you know how much fun I had! For those who know me well, this experience was really powerful. I discovered a new part of myself, artistically and socially. And this set at White Ocean was very special. I was supposed to play a 3 hours live set but for many reasons I wasn’t able to do so…  So I improvised a kind of hybrid set remixing and editing some tracks in live. I had never done such a thing before and it was totally insane! Right after I started a big dust storm hit the playa and we couldn't see a thing but it was unbelievable! So epic! The crowd was insane! It probably was the craziest set in my entire life! I will never forget this one. There is so much to say… Just be there.

Originally from Istanbul and currently based in Liverpool, Subcora is an academic day time, and a music alchemist/DJ night time. After years of being involved in music through different roles, i.e., as a singer, music writer and interview editor, she is now mostly focusing on DJing. She is keen on harmonising mostly melodic, instrumentally rich songs with a subtle groove, within different genres of house and different modes. 

Recently she joined Liverpool based DJ duo Maschinenfunk and now together they run nights that bring rhythmic, percussive & atmospheric sounds to the city. She also hosts a monthly live radio show at community radio Melodic Distraction.

We are happy to welcome her to our family, and we hope you enjoy this mix as much as we do!

Another dream came true as I played the Sunday noon set at Pyramid Yoga, the biggest Ecstatic Dance venue and event in Koh PhaNgan, where i've been dancing and living for many years.

I was so happy to see the people dance, jump, and shout to the wide-ranging journey of beats-infused world music I played.

A few highlights:
- Beats and Bass-infused vocals and music from Native-american, New-Zealand Mauri, Russian,  Tibetan, Amazonian, Aboriginal Australian, Indian, Turkish, Brazilian, Balkan,  and LOTS of African
- A traditional African acapella, an upbeat electronic remix of it, and samples that return many times during the whole journey
- A few other vocal and melodic African songs
- My newest track, a tribal remix of "Stone gods of Bimini", by Ixtahuele
