Music, with its inherently multifaceted nature, exerts a profound influence on our lives. When we engage with it, it possesses the remarkable ability to elicit a sense of nostalgic reflection, evoking memories of bygone eras. Simultaneously, it possesses the power to unite us, fostering a collective experience that transcends time and space. My journey as a DJ commenced back in 2000 playing small parties with friends and eventually led up to various regular residencies in the vibrant city of Denver, Colorado. In 2013, I ventured into the realm of music production, crafting my own compositions. Subsequently, I took a hiatus to focus on personal growth, and now I have returned with renewed determination to continue where I had left off. I eagerly anticipate sharing some new originals and to cultivate an expanding base of loyal supporters, all while authentically narrating my personal journey through the medium of music.

Atlanta based Demetrice Thomas a.k.a. Twnty47 started music like many, in the church at a young age, playing piano in Covington, Georgia. By the age of 12 he was getting paid to do it, and  age of 16 he was touring  with noted stage plays around the country.  That started his fire and love for music production and he further honed his skills during his teenage years in High School in Lithonia, Ga.
After a lot of networking and perfecting his craft, his career took a high note when he met Akon' artist/writer Verse Simmonds in 2009, leading him to produce the hit single “Buy You A Round” and his latest "Devotion" from Ro James, co produced by his mentor, multiplatinum producer Tricky Stewart.
Although Twnty47 continues to do production, learning alongside legendary Atlanta writer/producers Tricky Stewart, The Dream and more, his focus in 2018 is his other passion inside music, artist/rapper.
As an artist/producer, his forthcoming introduction  EP “ Never Too Late” is his open letter to the industry that he is not holding nothing back, taking his artistry just as serious as his love of the music.
