This is the second installation of Mway Riddims, a mix series highlighting the beautiful and dynamic sound design side of Dubstep. This series is all about letting go and enjoying the journey you’re on. Whether that is driving home from a event in the early morning hours, driving home after a long day at work, catching a long train or bus or simply driving around you favourite holiday  destination. This mix is dedicated to my partner Sharnie who's birthday is at the end of November and for the past two years we have gone to iceland to celebrate forever playing Mway riddims 001. This time around i broght a GoPro so that i could bring you lot of the journey, this mix was created for our journey to iceland this year and I just want to say Thank you to Sharnie because if she didn’t  drive I wouldnt have been able to do this passion project of mine. 

Another massive thank you to all the producers for creating this music that will forever leave amazing memories in my mind.

Soul Ex Machina continues to push the sound with Violence EP, a 2025 opening release from 7Kidz. Upcoming producer rising to be known for crafting immersive soundscapes and pushing the genre forward, 7Kidz delivers four intricately designed tracks that balance clarity, darker themes, and a futuristic edge.

The release will be available as digital download and streams and is coming out on Soul Ex Machina, February 21st 2025.

Argo's collaboration with Chestplate is a natural fit, as both the artist and label share a dedication to evolving dubstep without sacrificing its core elements.

In this EP Argo masterfully blends raw energy, organic textures, and intricate bass manipulation in each track, showcasing his talent for creating deep, atmospheric soundscapes that pay homage to the genre's roots while pushing it into new territories. Both track have already gained support from Distance, Hijinx, Cimm, Pinch, Dj Ntype plus more.

Track 1. Marécage Urbain.

A dark stomper with a gritty, organic vibe that rattles the chest and moves the soul. Argo's meticulous sampling brings an added layer of authenticity, making this track feel both heavy and alive with a relentless rhythm and a raw intensity that echoes the underground roots of dubstep.

Bringing in a 2-step vibe, 'Onyxia' echoes the sound of legendary Horsepower Productions, with its soulful guitar samples and eerie synth strings creating an atmosphere that's both haunting and hypnotic. A perfect balance of nostalgia and forward-thinking production.
