Following last month's inaugural installment from Desert Trax, the world and electronic music label releases yet another star-studded line-up of producers re-imagining the rich compositions of World Soul artist, Poranguí. 

This latest installment opens with famed English producer, El Búho, whose Latin American folk and cumbia-inspired take on “Danza del Viento” absolutely lifts the Spirit. Both Momentology and DJ Taz Rashid have been on a hot streak, pairing up for a number of releases on Desert Dwellers' label, but this time the pair aim for a Latin-focused, earthy remix of “Canto de la Selva.” Coming off a massive Desert Trax release earlier this summer in Apu, duo Jakare (Italian producers Halfred and Lo.Renzo) bring their South American slow house sound to Poranguí's “Otorongo”. 

Newcomers to the label Ryan Herr, Walkerji, and Baptiste Sejourne are joined by returning favorites Moon Frog, Ancestral Elephants, and Erothyme. Once again one of the label's most prolific artists, Poranguí, has woven together a powerful constellation of talent to interpret these potent medicine songs.

There's nothing quite like the morning... and it's always morning somewhere along this sacred Earth.

Upon this family tree, stretching upwards towards the Sun, like the birds, we human siblings are each singing our own unique, perfect note in the grand symphony of life awakening, to reflect the many brilliant colors on the spectrum of light.

As we as a species enter our collective spring into the dawning of the Golden Age, where all is rising up to the surface to be illuminated and revealed in the magnificence which this earth has nurtured as sacred, even when we, still sleeping, forgot how to see... that we are dreaming.

These songs here are all near and dear to my heart, many of which have been with me since the very beginning of, and even before my personal awakening journey over the past decade - but which still feel as fresh today. There are classics here from around the world in my book, as well as newer releases blossoming with the rise of multi-cultural, medicinal electronic and house music.

Play this first thing when you wake up, when the day is open with the timeless space to breathe, smile, stretch - and still infinitely dream and be filled with the prayers of healing and illumination being played by the exquisite global heart-beat dancing within the space in your heart, to songs from Israel, South America, Peru, The Middle East, Africa, Asia, and more...

Whether still meditating in bed, singing to your cacao, smelling your coffee, stretching to the sun, speaking to flowers on a walk, dancing ecstatically, or working forth into the life of your dreams - may the medicine of these melodies settle you into the “good mornings” with which all of life greets you to dance with and be danced by the rising Sun that you are, and that lives in all.

From humble beginnings as a spoken word poet and renegade artist, to successful runs with Goddess Alchemy Project and her own Radio Tarot, deLphi has leveled up in style and substance, piloting soul seekers on an introspective dancefloor journey. She has a gift for merging cultures in sound, the music dripping with sexy on any occasion she takes to the decks. Over twenty years deep in the West Coast game, deLphi remains magik maker and mystic; no stranger to spiritualized shanti nor the trillest dancehalls.  Ever the purveyor and tastemaker, the DJ refreshingly blends psychedelic bass textures with sublime femininity and an urban aesthetic. Delphi is the rare classicist able to weave yesterday's tomorrow into a textured afghan distinctly her own.

FULL BIO::

Celena Delphi is a multi-faceted artist, poet, DJ and earth activist, rooted in a foundation of community studies, permaculture, grassroots organizing and arts education.  Born in Summertown, TN and raised up in the arms of intentional community, Delphi has always been motivated by her deep understanding of art as an imperative tool for expression, communication and transformation, both individually and collectively.

Delphi's early creative explorations included poetry and renegade screen-print missions, beginning to evolve her identity and her offerings through language and free expression. She began Dj'ing in 2002, weaving musical maps to express a global movement born of the passionate uprising of the people in response to globalization and oppression. Through this work, Delphi began to more deeply understand music as the universal language of a (r)evolutionary generation.

From that place, Delphi co-founded the Goddess Alchemy Project, a women's multi-media collective and music group devoted to uplifting and empowering the divine feminine within all peoples as a key to true global sustainability.  Goddess Alchemy Project continues to travel extensively in the US and Internationally, building a quickly expanding and dedicated following.

Delphi also co-founded alKEMy deSignZ clothing line, which started as a basement art project and has expanded into a collective of artists and designers seeking to support themselves without sacrificing creative expression and artistic integrity. In the midst of this, within Goddess Alchemy Project Delphi has also helped to self-publish two poetry books, produce two albums, and build an extensive and interactive website.
