We welcome Matt Lush aka @lushy303 to the very first installment of the Delphic Iris Mix Series recorded live from our launch last year at @kimchirecordz in Berlin, a killer deep and groove heavy all vinyl set recorded on their lovely Bozak mixer for extra crispy sound.

This series is a handpicked selection of artists and friends of the label whom we enjoy their vibe, energy, and thoughtful musical curation.

We aim to highlight both our own releasing artists as well as selectors in our general community, whether they are based in Berlin, Sydney, or beyond.

As eclectic and chaotic as the Delphic Iris's visions themselves, our mix series will be somewhat sporadic in schedule and touch on both functional club music and its weirder hybrid edges. 

The series aims to channel otherworldly energy, intricate rhythms, and textures that we hope will take you on wild and unique journeys

Born in Melbourne and currently based in Berlin, Matt has been playing records and hosting events for over 20 years.

Originally a more straight up techno deejay, inspired by the likes of Mills and Garnier; these days Matt likes to traverse the dark line between techno, house, electro and acid music.

His artistry behind the decks is a perfect blend of infectious energy, deep musical knowledge and seamless mixing, expertly reading the room who is equally at home in an intimate club space to an expansive warehouse party.

In the ethereal realm of the void there existed The Delphic Iris, a being of otherworldly power and boundless knowledge. The Iris was said to possess the ability to see into the future and hear unique and strange sounds from times and dimensions beyond our grasp. 

Legend has it that with a specific alignment of space and time, and with the mastering of secret ritual practices, The Delphic Iris can be conjured by mortal musicians to ignite and inspire their souls.

History's stark warnings tells us that summoning The Delphic Iris is fraught with danger and risks the possible collapse of our universe, for the Iris is an unstable and powerful being. However, The Delphic Iris' visions are often too tempting to resist much like a Siren's song.  

In recent years, electronic musicians Drox and 16 Faces came across the existence of the Delphic Iris through secret texts found in "the Book of Tidder" and were able to command its power for short periods of time, and so “Delphic Iris Records” was born.

Fortune has been kind to Drox and 16 Faces so far, despite the obvious risks of summoning the entity. We do not know why this is exactly, as the ceremonies are still to this day shrouded in mystery. What we do know is that we too are lucky, because now we can hear a small glimpse of what The Delphic Iris sees.

  It is up for debate as to whether The Delphic Iris’s intentions are good or evil, so listen with caution and may these sounds consume you, for the future of music looks promising, at least for now ….

Patty G. 
Patric Große, auch bekannt als Patty G, ist ein DJ und Musikproduzent aus Erfurt, der 1998 in die Welt der elektronischen Musik eingetaucht ist. Heute gilt er als eine prägende Figur der elektronischen Musikszene in Thüringen. Er hat sich nicht nur als DJ etabliert, sondern auch als ein wesentlicher Unterstützer der lokalen Szene einen Namen gemacht. Mit seiner Leidenschaft für Musik und seinem Engagement für die lokale Kultur hat er maßgeblich zur Gestaltung der Clubszene Thüringens beigetragen.

Seine Musik spiegelt seine Persönlichkeit wider: bodenständig, leidenschaftlich und immer offen für neue Ideen und kreative Impulse. Er bleibt immer ansprechbar und voll und ganz seiner Kunst verpflichtet. Trotz seiner langjährigen Erfahrung bleibt er neugierig und sucht ständig nach neuen Klängen, um sein Publikum zu überraschen und zu fesseln. Seine Sets sind mehr als nur Musik – sie sind ein Ausdruck seiner selbst: vielseitig, energetisch und unverwechselbar.

Patric Große, a DJ and music producer from Erfurt, began his journey into the world of electronic music in 1998. Today, he is better known as Patty G. and is regarded as a defining figure in the electronic music scene of Thuringia. Not only has he established himself as a DJ, but he has also made a name for himself as a key supporter of the local scene. With his passion for music and his commitment to local culture, he has played a major role in shaping Thuringia’s club scene.

His music reflects his personality: down-to-earth, passionate, and always open to new ideas and creative impulses. He remains approachable and fully dedicated to his art. Despite his many years of experience, he stays curious and constantly searches for new sounds to surprise and captivate his audience. His sets are more than just music – they are an expression of himself: versatile, energetic, and unmistakable.

With his dedication, musical vision, and authentic, warm-hearted nature, Patric Große has earned his place in the scene – not just as an artist but also as a person who lives and shares music with true devotion.
