        Lost in the depths of space, AAKAARA takes listeners on a journey to the outer limits of the sonic universe with their latest album “Obsidian Promises”. Blending influences from punk and metal, EBM, architectural design and certain celestial objects, AAKAARA offers a fresh take on industrial techno. This body of work is dark and brooding, full of haunting and thought-provoking soundscapes. Metallic and cold one moment, blisteringly hot the next. Pounding drums create searing rhythms, acid-drenched synths weave abrasive textures, and noise permeates the stereo field.

        Inspired by the mysterious and alluring world of black holes, the producer explores the beauty of extremes through sound.

        "If you know my work or me," AAKAARA says, "it's no secret that I have a spiritual connection to, and an obsession with, black holes. It's not about doom and gloom, but about beautiful extremes: infinite calmness, ultra-high energy, being deeply centered, and inevitable attraction.”

        “I try to sonify this in a naive sense. It isn't an attempt at science; it's a way for me to practice a makeshift spirituality about these entities through craft and functional dance music for people."

        Spirituality and stellar inspiration were essential to AAKAARA's life during the three years they spent between Los Angeles and London, while writing this album. It provided a sonic home during a period of transition, when they didn't feel at home and didn't have access to a studio. Everything was made "in the box" using only Ableton 10. After collecting guitar pedals and amplifiers for years, AAKAARA has shifted away from a hardware-focused mindset and is now more invested in the conceptual framework, narrative, and cultural implications of their work.

        Visuals also play an integral role in this maximalist experience. The outer sleeve (front and back cover) conveys the “big ideas” visually, while the companion poster includes custom typography, detailed drawings, symbol design, and poetry. The poetry provides a textual counterpoint to the lyric-less music, written in parallel but later stages of the production process. The visual identity of this work is inseparable from the music, describing it in an integral way. It’s the other side of the coin, not simply an accompaniment.

        With its spiritual connection to the infinite and mysterious, “Obsidian Promises” harnesses the beauty and intensity of celestial entities as musical inspiration, transforming the science into mystical, narrative-driven sonic . Kim Cosmik (@kimcosmik)is a DJ and producer who started her career back in the 90s playing for festivals such as Sprial Tribe and Bedlam, and several clubs across Europe. She was among the first women to perform at London's Knowledge Club and at the Miami music festival. So far, she's released her own music on Void Records, 20:20 Vision, and Matador among others. She currently holds residencies at Threads Radio, Aaja Radio, and Techno Club Net, while running her own event, Hybrid, as long as being the head of Cybersoul, her very own label. En - The French-Canadian label Chez.Kito.Kat Records publishes the new album “TAPE TWO” by Luxembourg producer D.E.T. After having already released in 2015 his first album inspired by 90’s Chicago house scene and which was distributed by the legendary English distributor Lobster Theremin and published in 2022 the opus “TAPE 1” who pays homage to the 90’s UK Jungle movement and who was featured in HATE, a very rare distinction for a jungle production. 
TAPE TWO who is a psychedelic trip into 90’s electronic music scene, will be released on June 2nd, 2023 and will be available in limited audio cassette edition and digitally through our distributor UNDERSCOPE.

Après avoir déjà publié son premier album inspiré de la scène house chicago des 80's en 2015, distribué par le légendaire distributeur anglais Lobster Theremin, et après avoir publiée le premier de la série “TAPE ONE” en 2022 qui rendait hommage au courant Jungle UK de la fin 1990's et mis en avant par le célèbre média HATE.

D.E.T. (Luxembourg) : Under his alias D.E.T. (Deep Emotional Tracks), Michael Galetto has created his own musical world, from abstract hip-hop to experimental techno and many other genres. Galetto’s recording career began in 2006 making hip-hop beats for luxembourg’s based Argentinian rapper GODIÉ and ended up making a beat for famous french rapper NEKFEU.
In 2012 he began a trip-hop project, SYNTHESIS, with singer Deborah Lehnen. Together they released two albums; HUMAN in 2013 and IN BETWEEN in 2017.
In 2015 he released his first LP “4 5 20 90” under the alias DET90, a tribute to Chicago & Detroit House Music and released three other vinyls under his label TRNST., distributed by the London based record label LOBSTER THEREMIN.
In 2018 Michael collaborated with Italian composer Edoardo Cico Inzolia and released M.E.W. (Mind Enhanced Waves) Vol.1 & 2., a musical trip influenced by early Progressive Synth Rock & Synth Wave. The duo is currently working on a Rap project.
2019 D.E.T. started to work on a double project “Tape 1” and “Tape 2” who are two album album about to be released in october 2022 and may 2023 on Chez.Kito.Kat

In the ethereal realm of the void there existed The Delphic Iris, a being of otherworldly power and boundless knowledge. The Iris was said to possess the ability to see into the future and hear unique and strange sounds from times and dimensions beyond our grasp. 

Legend has it that with a specific alignment of space and time, and with the mastering of secret ritual practices, The Delphic Iris can be conjured by mortal musicians to ignite and inspire their souls.

History's stark warnings tells us that summoning The Delphic Iris is fraught with danger and risks the possible collapse of our universe, for the Iris is an unstable and powerful being. However, The Delphic Iris' visions are often too tempting to resist much like a Siren's song.  

In recent years, electronic musicians Drox and 16 Faces came across the existence of the Delphic Iris through secret texts found in "the Book of Tidder" and were able to command its power for short periods of time, and so “Delphic Iris Records” was born.

Fortune has been kind to Drox and 16 Faces so far, despite the obvious risks of summoning the entity. We do not know why this is exactly, as the ceremonies are still to this day shrouded in mystery. What we do know is that we too are lucky, because now we can hear a small glimpse of what The Delphic Iris sees.

  It is up for debate as to whether The Delphic Iris’s intentions are good or evil, so listen with caution and may these sounds consume you, for the future of music looks promising, at least for now ….
