MORE ABOUT “OVER THE RAINBOW" 
"Over The Rainbow is one of the greatest, most iconic, most beautiful, most thought-provoking and emotional music compositions of the Twentieth Century, loved by millions of people all around the world. 

For many years and decades, and still today, "Over The Rainbow" continues to touch the hearts and souls of millions of people around the world and, this magnificent song is regularly played on radio stations across the globe. 

"Over The Rainbow" was composed and written by Harold Arlen and Yip Yarburg in 1939 for the stage show; "The Wizard Of Oz." This wonderful song was first performed in the stage show "The Wizard Of Oz" by Judy Garland in 1939, who at that time, at the age of 13, was the star of the show. 
In 1945 Judy Garland did a special performance of “Over The Rainbow” in London. The performance was in memory of and in dedication to the Allied Forces who were hard at battle1945. This was a sad and tense period in World history, when 1,000’s of allied airman (Bluebirds) lost their lives in the air over Germany during the final months of the Second World War. 

These brave men tragically disappeared in the air over Germany while high-altitude saturation bombing the main cities of Germany. This was a final “give -it-all” thrust and effort by the Allied forces to compel Hitler to surrender. Their courageous and unselfish efforts succeeded, resulting in Hitler surrendering in 1945, and the war coming to an end. 

The Allied air forces crew were sometimes referred to as “Bluebirds”, a term that resonates and connects with the powerful, emotional and thought provoking words, ambiance and theme of this beautiful song; - "Somewhere over the rainbow - Bluebirds fly - Birds fly over the rainbow - Why, then oh why can't I?”

"Quando Quando Quando" (or "Quando, Quando, Quando " pronounced [ˈKwando ˈKwando ˈKwando]; "When, When, When") is an Italian pop song from 1962, in the bossa nova style, with music written by Tony Renis and lyrics by Alberto Testa. 

The song, originally recorded in two different versions by Tony Renis and Emilio Pericoli, competed in the Sanremo Music Festival in 1962, where it placed fourth, and later became a commercial success in Italy, topping the Musica e dischi singles chart.[1] American entertainer Pat Boone, who recorded the song in 1962, sang the English lyrics written by Ervin Drake.[2] [Source “Wikipedia - Aug 2025]
