For this Voices edition we unite producers across the techno panorama with different backgrounds in producing and playing music.
The theme of this series is to find your voice, to express your voice as well as listening to others.
Menous opening track “Meguri” carries an atmospheric, floating feeling, followed by an joyful and playful approach by Mary Yuzovskaya with “Late AM”. Then there is the spoken words (vinyl only), in the mothertongue of each Artist, on the A and B side to be explored. Additionally there are texts by Jule Hölzgen and Yun Park.
The B side opens with “Oya”, a track by Sarah Wreath exploring soundscapes and hypnotizing elements. The final track “Ash” by Laima Adelaide unfolds a colder atmosphere and groove.
The artwork by Yeliz Kiliçaslan encapsulates this vinyl in a textured envelope.

Following the release of "s.o.t.o Infinity" on Art Bei Ton, our first album release, YUKIMASA delivers a smooth journey through psychedelic and hypnotic spaces full of drifting atmospheres and murky textures. 

More about YUKIMASA:
YUKIMASA began his music career in the late 1990s in Anaheim, California, and then
returned to Japan in the early 2000s, immersing himself in the electronic music scene. Over
the past few decades, he has continued his activities in various places worldwide.

Transcending genre boundaries and continuously expanding his style and artistic vision
shaped by encounters with a diverse array of artists. In 2007, he launched his own recurring
party, “FORCE,” which continues to be held at WOMB Tokyo.

In 2019, he established Paradigma Records and has continued to release tracks from labels
that represent scenes from various countries. His wide-ranging musical exploration,
unconstrained by genre, and his collaborations with diverse artists have created the
uniqueness of his DJ style, which has been highly acclaimed at world-renowned clubs such
as Tresor, OHM, and Gare.

For this edition of u n r u s h, we welcome an artist I’ve known for years through Berlin and the music that connects us. Red Rooms has been on my list for a while, and I’m glad the timing finally aligned.

Over the past years, he has steadily shaped his place in the city’s electronic and techno scene with a minimalist, hypnotic, and always fresh approach—usually leaning into faster, mystical techno with subtle dub influences.

For this mix, he shifts the focus: the kick drums step aside, opening space for gentler, more radiant, soothing soundscapes with a hint of rhythmic elements—still unmistakably framed by the Red Rooms aesthetic.

With a growing body of releases, DJ and live sets, and strong support from the scene, Red Rooms is an artist to keep on your radar. This mix reveals a softer layer of his world, without losing any depth.
