Turbo Recordings is proud to present the kind of remix pack we’ve heard you talk about in your sleep, featuring a banging techno remix from masked man/presumed German Redshape, a 10-minute minimal epic from "techno gastronomist" Dubfire, an electro-funk jam from veteran Clone machinist Dexter, and two mixes (one vinyl, one digital) from rising Turbo star ANNA that will enrich the lives of completists everywhere.

Label boss Tiga has declared this to be his favourite release of recent times, with each track instantly plunging him deep into a persona he calls “Mr. Goin’ Crazy,” which he describes thusly: “Your best friend if you’re feeling’ the highs and your worst nightmare if you ain’t deep in the groove…can rap his way out of any cypher…naturally good at math…makes his own ceramic dinnerware with insane designs and patterns…” (EDITED FOR BREVITY)

Once again, we shine a spotlight on the amazing music coming from Nina Kraviz's трип​ imprint and after they made our labels of the year list for the second time, it comes as no surprise.

After incredible releases from PTU, Biogen and Deniro this year, the label closes out 2017 with another sinister debut EP from Roma Zuckerman​. 

The four track 'That Present Terminal' is more of the intricate, forward-thinking output we've come to expect on трип​ and we've got the premiere of 'So What (I Feel Dirty)​'

When Paul Woolford adopted his Special Request alias again last year for the 'Belief System' album, we kind of lost our shit. The LP was one of our favourites of 2018 and once again cemented Woolford as a certified master of the scene.

At the end of the year we crowned Nina Kraviz as our DJ of the Year and ultimately it was an easy decision to make. Her sets are electric, her label, трип, is one of the most forward-thinking and genre-bending imprints in the world and her parties buck the formulaic trend that most follow.

When we found out that Nina was remixing 'Curtain Twitcher' by Special Request, we jumped at the chance to listen. When we realised she'd done not one but two remixes, well we were sold.

Here is the premiere of Kraviz's Alice Was Here remix and it's more of the brilliant same. A true meeting of magical minds.

You all remember 'Teachers' by Daft Punk, right? 

Sure you do, they paid homage to the acts that changed the game musically. A lot more music has been released since then and that's where Mumdance & Logos come in.

Source Direct, DJ Die, Fabio & Grooverider, Surgeon and James Ruskin are just a few of the artists that get a shout out in their homage to the original banger.

This version is a gnarly, electro excursion and appears as part of Mumdance's amazing, upcoming 'Shared Meanings' compilation which drops on November 23.

Exhausted Modern is a Prague based DJ and producer and a half of a well-known Endless Illusion label. Having had a recent release on brokntoys, he comes back with a new EP on Rotterdam Electronix.  In his own words, “taken from the EP "Happy Hertz Club Banned" coming on Rotterdam Electronix later this month, the record kicks off with an extended acid injected electro track called ''All Things Are Possible’’. While playing with the term of motivational spirituality, we’re getting put in a contrast with dystopian vibe of the track."
The record is available on Rotterdam Electronix, by the end of December.

For their next reissue project Delsin turn to this classic from 1992 by Random XS. This pioneering Dutch techno production outfit, with a tight live reputation, was closely aligned to the Saskia Sleger's legendary Djax-Up Beats-label. 

This EP features the original, legendary a-side, which was a hypnotic vocal acid anthem that has become an absolute classic of the genre. In all it lasts well over 12 minutes, but manages to be utterly compelling throughout, always evolving and keeping you locked in. It’s a track that takes influence from the harder Chicago sounds and really sums up the Djax-Up-Beats ethos. It has busy acid lines whipping about the mix as metallic hi-hats dance on top while filtered, haunting vocals take you down the dark rabbit hole.

The original mix is not only skillfully remastered from the original tape, it’s also ‘repaired’. The notorious out-of-sync gap at eight minutes is fixed, enabling long mixes without ‘trainwrecking'.

The b-side has two new remixes from Delta Funktionen and Lost Trax. Label stalwart Delta Funktionen serves up his own interpretation: a futuristic, electro tinged version with crashing hits and one of his famously busy basslines. The anonymous Lost Trax collective - who have released two EPs on Delsin before now - remix it also into a surging, twisted track with flurries of percussion and warped synths all bringing real warehouse energy.
