Brighton-based producer Silloh, real name Hugo Hollis,
returns to Soulvent with a bass-heavy 2-track single in the
form of ‘The Conqueror’. Initially releasing on the first edition
of our ‘Tonics’ series back in May, Hugo’s productions are
beginning to garner support from some well-respected
tastemakers including the much-loved Break, who released
Silloh’s second release on his own Symmetry Recordings with
‘Fields of Green’.

Opener ‘The Conqueror’ stakes its claim with playful pops of
tuned percussion and big drums setting the tone. Robotic,
processed vocals take centre stage leading in a sense of
dread while the drop ushers in menacing sonics for a truly
deep, dark and gully experience on this heavy-duty creeper.

He’s one of the beloved heads of the Born On Road family, but Aries has kept us waiting for new music for over a year. Too long, right? Well, we’re gassed to say he’s currently sitting on some firepower, and his latest single “Inside My Head” is all you need to know.

Teaming up with Resist from Uncommon Records – a good friend of the label from Aries’ ventures at Glastonbury – this collab was always destined to be a jungle festival anthem. But it wouldn’t be complete without the insane vocal talents of Salo – one of the most exciting jungle artists coming out of Manchester right now, who turned heads with her feature on Chimpo’s “Keep U Round” last year. Her soulful vocal hooks help to cement this track as a readymade anthem for the upcoming festival season.

The duo Two Turntable returns with strong creative energy on their new release, Inspire Me EP, delivering two Liquid Drum and Bass tracks shaped by introspection and sonic experimentation.

The opening track, “My Jazz is Jungle”, acts as a bridge between tradition and innovation: deep, organic basslines intertwine with jazz-inspired improvisations, recreating an atmosphere that nods to the genre’s roots while pushing into contemporary territory. The beats flow smoothly, guiding the listener through a journey that shifts between contemplation and motion.

The title track, “Inspire Me”, expands on this concept with an even more immersive approach. Here, the basslines take on a more experimental character, blending with ethereal pads and pulsating rhythms that evoke both hope and reflection. The result is an emotive Liquid DnB experience—subtle yet powerful.

With this EP, Two Turntable reaffirms their identity as artists unafraid to break formulas, exploring the less obvious paths of Drum and Bass.
