Returning to Dispatch Recordings after a 16-year break is Atlantic Connection, whose seminal tune 'Situations' first made an outing in 2006 as part of DIS021. This forward-thinking, liquid gem quickly became a firm favourite, with remixes from Stress Level & Ant TC1 in 2007 and Zero T in 2009 firmly cementing its part in Dispatch history. 

The 'Fixation EP' is headed up by the funk-fuelled DLR Remix, his unmistakable take bringing the classic track straight into 2022 with an infectious, acidic bassline and trademark shuffle. 

Title track 'Fixation' sees Atlantic Connection flex his liquid credentials, a true master of the emotional musicality that makes his productions shine - ethereal vocals and delicate harp melodies combine with a dubby rolling bass to spectacular effect. 

Piano led 'Lightwave' is drenched in forlorn romanticism and 'Fifth Degree' shows the tougher side of the Calfornia based producer's arsenal, with a lethal two-step and rough bottom end. 

The Black Science Labs remaster of the classic 'Situations', lovingly restores the original for today's dancefloors and completes a very welcome (and long-overdue) return for Atlantic Connection.

Reaching the milestone of ten releases is a significant moment for Onward Music, and to mark the occasion, the label has put together something special, featuring both long-time friends and fresh talent.

This six-track EP opens with a stunning remix from Phil Tangent, reworking a track originally released on the label a few years ago.
