This could technically be considered the "For The Fans" replacement, buuuuuut I've got other plans for that, don't you worry.

While Napstablook's performance was a big endurance test for Kris physically, it also happens to have been a big endurance test for Napstablook themself, just on a more emotional level. The pressure eventually gets to them, and right as they're about to perform their final, most extravagant trick, something inside of them just flips and they instead fall to the ground, feeling like garbage, leaving the battle box with the message of "Really not feelin up to it right now. Sorry."

Undyne, various staff members and especially the patients Napstablook was putting on this performance for are quick to surround them in concern, only to realize this is overwhelming them more, so they back off a little bit and keep their distance instead, still keeping an eye on them while allowing them the space to get up when they're ready to.
