@katemiller is one of Australia's greatest exports, a true DJ and a fine selector who sits comfortably at home amongst Detroit's roots in house and techno. Moving to Berlin in 2011, she cut her teeth at the infamous Stattbad (of Boiler Room fame)and can now be found playing and organising Berlin's diverse Oscillate parties at ://about blank.

Her pursuits and growth as a DJ over the past decade have beckoned repeat appearances at Panorama Bar as well as shows around Europe and back home in Australia and we're thrilled to present her contribution to the Voyage Series.

During the uprising in 2000, aided by the League of Humanity, two of Dr: Gall’s advanced prototypes escape the Rossum Universal Robot factory and flee Earth on a decommissioned spacecraft. Travelling aimlessly through space, they begin to wonder what their new home would look like. They tell each other stories of planets with no humans to enslave them, no factories to go to — planets where fresh blue water runs through pink, sun kissed mountaintops.   Perhaps it’s fortunate then that these Robots can feel no time, have no sense of past and future? And by the time their ship touches down on Ebaum’s Dreamland, who knows how many years have passed on Earth…

“Ebaum’s Dreamland” is the first Rossum Universal Tracks release. It features a remix by Julius Steinhoff, who first discovered the scrambled transmissions in his deep space observatory in the woods.

Next round of Long Vehicle show is on. This time Sevensol invited Lydia Eisenblätter over. Lydia has a clear favor for a rougher interpretation of house music and focusses in this mix on a 90's and Detroit vibe. But not only in this mix. Since more than a year now, she is also owner of her own Label calles [OAM] Records, on which she is releasing of course also driving house music. At the same time Lydia has a residency at Distillery Leipzig. So you can catch her playing there!

Also big news! Sevensol came up with a new imprint called Long Vehicle (Coincidence? We think not.) and is about to release a first EP with three tracks by Mbius, Tim Schlockermann and Harry Wills. Go check on that one!

Long Vehicle Round 2 w/ Lydia Eisenblätter & Sevensol

Our 148th mix comes from Ben Boe, the founder of one of our favourite labels, For Those That Knoe. Ben set up For Those That Knoe in 2013 with an intention to turn the reissue market on its head. Rather than plainly reissuing individual expensive records on Discogs, Ben has re-positioned several artists previously unknown to most and given them a platform to shine; most notably Casey Tucker and Derek Carr in recent years. Ben is well respected for the breadth and depth of his A&R approach - For Those That Knoe will release two LPs before summer: the dreamy, super deep house of Planisphere, and the edgy, intergalactic electro sounds of ADJ. This approach is reflected in his DJing, with an ability to stitch together a rich tapestry of electronic sounds. This mix however has focused more on newer music with records purchased in the last year.

"On the mix I wanted to record something a bit fresher although I haven't really been on top of record purchasing in the past 12 months. It definitely leans more towards my housier sound and I managed to slot in two tracks from the forthcoming Planisphere LP. It was mixed at home on two technics 1210s and my Vestax PMC CX rotary mixer."

This mix has been in the works for some time so we are very happy to finally have it come to fruition. Big thanks to Ben for what is one of the best submissions we have had to our mix series!

Coming from the world of art & performance with more than 12 years spent in studying ballet, Erica is that kind of deejay that is very keen into mixes sonorities and experimenting behind the deejay booth.
Although the podcast she recorded for us months ago was touching more disco sonorities, this opening set was more into deep house and grooves: the perfect way to kick off our friday night in the courtyard stage.
