Once performing as a live and studio bassist within the range of jazz, pop, rock, latin, triphop, fusion and funk from the late 80's and up, deLuca now focuses on creating and producing electronic music.

With roots deeply grounded in the nordic tradition of music aestetics and a heart for distinct, dynamic grooves and melodic nerve, his style covers a wide spectrum of influences - yet always with a atmospheric and integritive approach as a nexus.

A late bloomer besides the underground techscene, releasing his first solo EP in 2014 he has pt. become a very relevant innovative producer having his tracks released, compiled and played internationally by labels such as Undergroove music, Exotic Refreshment, Sa Trincha Recordings, Hollin Hill, Joint Nation Records and More...

KataHaifisch was born in 2015 as a podcast series on SoundCloud. The original mission? To provide a stage for fresh talent within the electronic music scene. What started as a springboard for newcomers quickly evolved into a trusted hub for established artists and creatives alike.

In 2020, we took the next step and transformed from a podcast project into a fully-fledged record label with a distinct sonic identity. We are dedicated to the deep and melodic sides of electronic music: driving Indie Dance, earthy Organic House, and hypnotic Down- & Midtempo grooves.

Since then, our weekly Thursday podcasts have been complemented by regular releases on all major platforms, curating a sound that works just as well for deep listening as it does for the club. KataHaifisch wurde 2015 als eine Podcastreihe auf SoundCloud gegründet. 
Der Ursprungsgedanke? Neuen Talenten aus der elektronischen Musikszene eine Bühne bieten. Was als Sprungbrett für Newcomer*innen begann, wurde schnell auch zur Anlaufstelle für etablierte Artists und Künstler*innen aller Art.

2020 folgte der nächste Schritt: Aus einem Podcast Projekt wurde ein eigenes Label mit Fokus auf Down-Midtempo, Indie Dance & Organic House Seitdem gibt’s zu den wöchentlichen Donnerstagspodcasts auch regelmäßige Releases auf allen gängigen Plattformen.

Vinyl Record is that project for a true music connoisseur that appreciates analog sound.
Modeight - the vinyl only label, is the culmination of these principles, where infinite magic sequences and modifications are melded together to produce a unique sound. Modeight produces music that caters to the specific sound requirements and standards that DJs demand. Without a doubt, our vinyl-only label differentiates itself from the convenient and utilitarian; unwilling to sacrifice the integrity of our sound for the mainstream. Our mission is to retain the aesthetic values of our products when the dance floor is pulsing and the DJ is on the decks. ​

Chilean-born DJ/Producer SIMPLY CITY began his music career embedded in clubs and raves in his native city of Santiago under the alias Cesar “Bass” Romero. After developing a reputation as one of the most in-demand DJ’s in his home country, Cesar left Chile to begin touring across Latin America, Asia, Europe, and North America in the pursuit of launching his DJ career. 

Cesar then spent many years traveling and touring the world internationally as a DJ. It was Montreal, however, where he decided to root himself after much time abroad. Here, he gained a coveted spot as a resident at Montreal's world famous Stereo Afterhours, where he’s been engaging crowds and developing his sound for over 10 years. 

Stereo’s globally recognized sound system, acoustic space, and dedicated club-goers gave Cesar the opportunity not only to apply his breadth of experience as a career DJ, but also to explore a variety of new musical territories. At Stereo, Cesar never fails to flex his mixing skills to an audience of “stereo-heads”; always taking them on truly sonic and atmospheric journeys through his music. Whether opening up the room for some of the biggest names in electronic music or taking over the space for an “all night long” set, Cesar’s mastery of tight mixing and careful track selection have garnered him respect both locally and internationally. 

Outside of DJing, Cesar has released several tracks on some of the most well-renowned progressive house labels; ultimately putting himself on the map as one Montreal’s most recognized progressive house producers. SIMPLY CITY continues to play his music beyond Canada’s borders, and consistently delivers his infectious Stereo flare to audiences across the world.

Hvitling [v'it:ling]; a variety of cod but also the Swedish transliteration of his birth name. He has meandered from the canyons of the Vrbas river to the frosty waters of Öresund before finding his way down to the shores of lake Zurich. Having discovered an inclination for emotional and, at times, melancholic music from an early age whilst strumming classical ballads on his guitar, his attention was rapidly drawn to electronic music. Like a hvitling frolicking in the currents, he takes the listener on a journey through the sea of his mind.
