Delve Deeper 001

Easter Sunday 31st March 13 saw Delve Deeper host an infamous day/night party where we has the honor of witnessing Solid State perform his 25th year of DJing anniversary mix.

This is a reproduction of the infamous mix that night including many timeless house records both past and present.

In his 25 years of DJing, Solid State has been influential is introducing house to Sheffield via the early pirate radio days and warehouse parties. He has been at the forefront for all these years, taking up gigs over the most credible venues and nights up and down to the UK and overseas (including a tour of South Africa). He is also noted for his production, having released tracks on heavyweight label such as Guidance (Chicago) and Toko.

It is understandable to see why Solid State has secured the title of local legend.

You can also catch his spinning everything from funk to house via his All Out War radio show on myhouseyourhouse.net monthly Saturdays 4-6 pm, 

Solid State - Delve Deeper001

Delve Deeper has had a strong presence in Sheffield nightlife since 2007 and in that time its parties, promoted by the residents Liam C and Jenny Fu, have remained true to its original ethos of deep, underground house and showcasing the very best of local talent and international talent.

Over the years Delve Deeper has hosted a variety of parties from bars to nightclubs to warehouse via the infamous all day marathons at Dulo and The Washington, where the cream of Sheffield talent come together in creating the infamous positive and good vibe Delve Deeper has built a name upon.

So far Delve Deeper has brought to Sheffield internationally acclaimed names including; Jimpster, Milton Jackson, Shur-i-Kan, Sebastian Davidson, Da Sunlounge, Tomson, K-Bana and Ben Maxfield (Session9), Evans & Waterfall and Neil Hinde (The Lisa Marie Experience) to name but a few.

Looking ahead, things will continue to build with some exciting events in the planning stage and world class deep house names being sourced. Delve Deeper will also look towards what it feels most strongly about, pushing local talent and bringing Sheffield DJ’s and events together to continue on pushing the excellent scene Sheffield has to offer.
