An original song I composed using Deflemask with the Sega Genesis sound font. It was originally made on a paint composer but it didn't sound the greatest. Then I remembered that I was gifted Deflemask a few birthdays ago. So I decided to put it to use and work extra hard on it!

At first, the inspiration for the song was Rivals of Aether since that game has  an amazing OST that not many people know about. Since I used the Genesis sound, I could make it a full sonic style song and do an act 2 version if I wanted to. As I was making the song, the theme of some kind of fire level just hit me. I thought about volcanos and lava and how unpredictable and dangerous, yet somehow beautiful and astonishing they can be to witness. So I tried to convey those feelings in this song!

Here it is fully remastered and better than ever! Please enjoy and let me know what you think! It is my first time ever doing something like this, so feedback is appreciated!

what if this track had been made for the sharp x6800 instead of MSX2? this is a short track from Penant Race 2 I wanted to remake in Namachuukei 68 style, I think it ended up nicely.
There are 4 loops bc the track is very short so that's all enjoy :D
