F.I.D.E.L is the avatar project of Paris-based composer/producer/A&R, R. Dilouya, UK Funk & Soul Legend, John Turrell (Smoove & Turrell) and Hip-Hop/Soul major force, Sly Johnson (Saïan Supa Crew). On "STAR 51", Dilouya drops a Prophet-filled and Linn-Drum driven infectious track reminiscent of Prince’s golden era and the 1980s Detroit’s Soulful Techno Scene on which Sly Johnson delivers a provocative performance letting his soul rip with a gut reaction to 21st century tech-infused populism.

Right before I change direction I would like to share this raw dedication to one of my favourite piano players called Mal Waldron. This tune was meant to take part on my latest album "Suzume" but didn't make it in the end.  The sample was taken from his record "Mingus Lives" which arrived to my place accidentally from an unknown sender. Who was it? thank you for this amazing gift.
