This show is an absolute whopper since I have a very special guest joining me for the second hour. None other than BIRDEE, one of the biggest Nu-Disco artists on the scene, and one of my favourite producers. I was absolute stoked when he agreed to be a guest on my show.

Birdee hails from Los Angeles, and he’s a prolific producer who has been releasing original tracks and remixes for over 10 years. This year he has been ranked #58 in the Traxsource Artists of the Year, which is rated across all genres and is a magnificent achievement! In 2022 he also had 55 of his tracks hit the Traxsource Top 100.

Birdee has has releases on major labels such as Midnight Riot, Glitterbox, Bombstrikes, Re-Loved, Nervous Records and more. His style of music is always upbeat, uplifting and full of pumping disco energy and joy.

Sam’s set from St Mary's Chambers, Rossendale/Rowtenstall in North West, UK. This marks the 4th time Sam has been support DJ for Craig Charles Funk & Soul show on warm up DJ duties. 

All tracks are mixed and beat matched from start to finish, beginning at 100BPM and gently increasing to around 120BPM with a reset in the middle. 

The set includes a mixture of soul, funk and disco genres including originals, remixes and modern alongside some of Sam’s own edits.
