El Shaddai to the rescue, time after time, 
Givin me daily bread, I was eatin rye,
He said I was the apple of His Eye,
I was Adam and Eve in Eden, eatin evil in disobedience, creepin like a cretin in the evening then I'd hide,
No pretense, what's the defense?
What next in the sequence? I’ll leave you to decide or define,
I was tryn leave Christ to the side,
How moronic, cuz at the same time, 
His yoke is easy and His burden is light, 
All He wanted me to do was abide,
I was too busy doing Jekyll and Hyde,
Two-faced lil boy, can’t even tie my shoelace,
Metal alloy meddling with heat over 100, now I got a blue face,

I tossed my golden calf away, it was an idol,
And I was libel,
It’s not conducive to survival,
I was a fake disciple,
Matter of fact, I was an imposter, 
No faith, just dread, a rasta,
I wanted to ball on these (bolognese) youngins, I wasn’t a passer (pasta),
Ain’t top rhymin (ramen), just fallin, where’s the pastor?
Where’s the profit? No change, just chains in my pocket,
Bound by gluttony in my wallet,
That was before I became way more conscious,
That was before I made way better options,
Feel like Enoch He knocks, I’m off then, always, not "often,"
Tryn make a habit of walkin, 
Heart wasn’t fond of it now it’s softening,
Why they gossiping? 

I was smoove cruisin down the block, wassup?!,
Fakin like I had all I needed but not
Life so i was dead steering,
Driving a wheel with the wrong hand on it, dead staring at a grave,
More engaged by whether or not they were entertained,
But couldn’t weather the storms when they came,
I’d rather be deranged in a Range,
I’d rather sip Malibu in a Malibu,
Playin deadly games like they were casual,
With no chase, Lord I pray that I chase after You,
In my remaining days,
And fan the smoke away.
