When I was a kid, my very first synth was the Commodore 64. At that time I used to sequence music in Basic code entering hexadecimal data. Another passion as a teen was progressive rock, such as the Deep Red (Dario Argento’s “Profondo Rosso”) horror soundtracks by Goblin and Claudio Simonetti. 
“Chip Red - Profondo Rosso Chiptune” is crafted from the heart, merging these two early passions of mine, featuring the iconic C64 and vintage retrowave instruments such as the Ensoniq SQ80 (from Bob Yannes, the designer of the c64 SID chip) or a ORLA electronic organ from the 80s: a sonic tribute to the past and a step into the future, with modern effects and sequencing.

"Until we are together again"
In June 2023, I said goodbye to my beloved dog companion after sharing twelve wonderful years together. Spencer was my family, my best friend, a constant force in my life, and a source of pure love. His presence always brought a smile to my face, he was truly amazing and beautiful. His departure made me reflect on the fleeting nature of life and the importance of cherishing the present moment, prioritizing what truly matters, and letting go of the unnecessary. During a period of deep grief, I was tasked with selecting music for the first Aurora event. Immersing myself in this process and performing there provided a much-needed release. The music I chose and played was a dedication to Spencer, evoking feelings of something beyond our human experience. I hoped he could hear it from wherever he was.
It was a way for me to say thank you to him for the love, patience, and companionship he had given me. I am immensely grateful for the amazing life we shared and so proud of our journey together. He will always hold a special place in my heart.

At the twilight of his existence, Daedalus, the legendary artificer, sits in solitude, surrounded by the memories of his masterpieces and the ghosts of his creations. In a backward journey through the labyrinths of memory, he reflects on the choices that made him both famous and a prisoner of his own gifts. With tired eyes, Daedalus recalls the bright and dark aspects of his genius, aware that he had carved out his destiny in an intertwining of ambition, art, and inevitable consequences.

The heart of the EP, Daidalos, embodies the master of ingenuity, his creative and multidimensional essence, a reflection of his life and aspirations. From this track, three satellite tracks branch out, each a fragment of his existence, echoing melodies and themes that chase and transform, just as he shaped and manipulated matter.
