Cherokee is an Australian DJ, born in Melbourne and based in Gent, Belgium. She’s a house music DJ with a global reputation, esteemed for her style of deep rhythms and positive vibrations! Influenced by Chicago and New York house music, her DJ sets provide a seamless education of pure underground pulses, combining disco with soulful influences, rich deep chords, jazz-funk rhythms and joyous vocals that set the dance floor ablaze. Cherokee performs in the house music cities Chicago, Detroit, New York, London, Toronto, Hong Kong, Berlin and locally in Belgium and the Netherlands. She formerly lived her DJ life in cosmopolitan cities Shanghai, Berlin and started out in Melbourne, 2005 going international from 2008.

Cherokee was amongst some of the first few female DJs to rise out of the Australian scene. She quickly gained fame for her vibrant performances which helped build her strong fanbase. Cherokee’s talent and perseverance in preserving her unique style comes through her love and passion of her musical roots, which are the origins of jazz, soul, funk and disco music. With charismatic spirit, energy and charm, Cherokee will instantly captivate you, once you hear her rhythmic remedy for your mind, body and soul.
