Erebus is the brainchild of Abhiram, born and raised in Kochi, India. His sonic expedition began at the age of 12 when he started listening to genres like EDM, hip-hop and rock.

A couple of years later when he heard psychedelic trance for the first time, he took an instant liking to the mind-expanding sounds and it reshaped his perception of sound. After that it was a long journey through the world of music. According to Greek mythology, Erebus was one of the ancient deities, born of the primeval void. He is believed to have finished the Underworld after the Gods created Earth.

Abhiram started producing music in January 2020 and his sounds are a progeny of various styles and genres with a focus on experimental darkpsy. With deep explorations into the connection between the human mind and psytrance, his music scouts the underworld of psychedelia.
