Legion…
A demon that describes himself as “many”
Possessed a man and encountered Jesus
Even then demon of many could not withstand the almighty power of Jesus
Legion pleaded with Jesus to not cast them away; pleaded to not torture them
Legion begged Jesus to cast them into a herd of swine
Jesus allowed it
Then Legion proceeded to drown themselves while being inside the swine…
They would rather that than face the righteous power of God

No demon can match the power of God
James 2:19

Philippians 4:13
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”

Galatians 5:16–17
“God gives us the power in His Spirit to win the battle against our sinful desires.”

Through the power of Christ may we overcome the desires of our flesh, to overcome any sins we struggle with. Only through the power of Christ may we accomplish this. He is our strength and will power.

Even through life’s trials, Christ is our strength so that we may endure them, learn from them, and grow from them.

Any situation, trial and tribulation, or sin that you feel is too big is no where near the power of God.
