With this mix, I’ve tried to captured the sounds that really founded my interest in dance music. I draw a lot of inspiration from the Copenhagen Techno scene and I’m lucky enough to have been mentored by Repro and Adam Askov, and it felt really full circle to play a lot of their music, along with some classics from Schacke and Sugar. I also combined this with some of my newer interests, taking inspiration from UK sounds like Overmono and Joy Orbison. I really tried to focus on building the energy and tension throughout the mix.

peachlyfe (@peach-lyfe) is an artist of playful provocation. Blending psychoactive techno, swampy psy-trance, and alien acid, their DJ sets intentionally induce a state of sonic mindfuck, while their holistic live performances target transcendence. Transitioning through jazz music, composition, and the electric bass, peachlyfe rejected the rigidity of their formal conservatory training after finding freedom and empowerment in the culture and queer community of electronic music.
