It's been a while since my last studio mix, but I got a hot, genre bending mix in store for you here today. While the beginning and end serve as gateways to broader musical explorations and opportunities for some unexpected twists, the majority of the mix is firmly rooted in the deep house and minimal I've been enamored with for the last several years. Still though, there are different energy levels and moods explored within these two main styles as well, creating consistent variety throughout. This is a cerebral voyage that still knows how to have fun, and I think that's a great balance to strike. I hope you can enjoy this set as much as I do. Much love!

Haus Catz is the DJ / Production trio made up of Tailspin, DJ PurRpLeXeD, and Pounces. Together their sound revolves around a wide-ranging palette of house, club, and techno with forays into breaks, lo-fi, and leftfield sensibilities. Their first two EPs "Club Nip, Vol. 1" and "Club Nip, Vol. 2" received support from several standout DJs and tastemakers, including Baltra, Martyn Bootyspoon, Ouri and DJ Plead. 

They've hosted multiple residencies in clubs around Denver, and they also throw all-night warehouse parties with capacity crowds featuring top tier talent and high definition sound. They’ve provided direct support for an array of international underground talent, including Leon Vynehall, Ross From Friends and Barry Can't Swim. Recently, Haus Catz have been finalizing more original music that encapsulates the sound and spirit of their live performances - moody, groovy, and pspspsychedelic. Look for their debut LP, "We Can Move" coming out on November 7th, 2025!

Kevin Callison calls Denver, Colorado home. Delving into various genres to create an "audio movie" taking his listeners on a journey that fills the mind, body and environment into nothing short of a  study in sound. Weaving through techno, progressive, breaks, acid and house enables his sound selection to get to the corners allowing the mixes to expand  beyond the mundane. Warm, funky bass and intricate mids and highs lend themselves to many tributaries that help dictate an interesting heartfelt connection to those in attendance.
    Being an artist in various genres of expression, Kevin has a full understanding of the holistic approach to attain moments of creation that keep the vibe fresh and inviting. He has been a D.J. since the late nineties curating and performing across the country and internationally in countless shows and events. Also co founding the longest running electronic weekly in Denver “TheUnderground”, co founding the Ekō house venue in Denver, and is a member of Beyōnd. In recent years playing with many international acts(Etienne De Crecy,Laura Jones, Robert Dietz, Keoki, Pig and Dan, Dj T, Kevin Saunderson, Dave Pezzner, Jimmy Edgar, Stephan Bodzin, Lane 8, Cassegrain, Frank and Tony, Maher Daniel, Chris Liebing, Francesca Lombardo, Kyle Watson) festivals (Reset Camp out, Together Festivak, Lillian Gish Film Festival, Eddy out camp out, Great American Techno Festival, Togetherland, DWS,), as well as exciting venues like the Endup in San Francisco, Club vertigo in Costa Rica, Drais in Las Vegas as well as TTT in Las Vegas and along with weekly events(Vedana, Versions, The Underground, Headspace) the ability to make the most discerning ears vibrate with an inventiveness that is an inspired pleasure.

Anodynic Frequencies is a podcast dedicated towards music that is expressed through subconscious journeys. We strive for our listeners to drift in the stories told by our guests. What is this word "Dendritic?" Merriam Webster defines it as such: adjective - den·drit·ic | \ (ˌ)den-ˈdri-tik- : resembling or having dendrites : branching like a tree. There was something about learning this word that stuck with a young college freshman taking environmental science and starting to learn how to mix electronic music on vinyl in the early 2000’s. It seems that this is the natural shape of growth in our world; many things branch out this way, and so would the young man’s music. Since the beginning, a variety of musical styles and moods of dance music has always been a key focus of the Dendritic repertoire of sound. You can expect to hear everything from minimal and deep house, breaks, trippy playa tech, tech house, dirty bass house, occasionally techno. Moving through different styles and sounds gracefully, with purpose, is an artform this DJ/aspiring producer takes seriously and continues to master.

After spending many years living in Austin, TX and becoming established as a solid music curator and technically focused DJ he made his move to Denver, CO in 2013. Years of going to shows regularly, continuously releasing new mixes, and building a home studio, have led to the artist more commonly known as Leo becoming established in the Colorado area as well. Most notably, he has shared the decks playing in support of Atish, Ardalan, Bruno Furlan, m.O.N.R.O.E., Qrion, Trikk, Yotto, and Tim Green. Continuing to DJ and share music, learning music production, and teaching others how to mix are what drives this dedicated creator.
