I was born 1980 in Koblenz/Germany.
My works reflect various influences.  Ambient, Electro, House, Experimental, Techno, Industrial and the sounds of the eighties are my inspiration for productions. The electronic music scene in Germany in the 1990s encouraged me to buy my first synthesizer. I prefer to work with my modular system and the Korg Minilouge XD synthesizer, Yamaha CS1 X and field recordings too. Artists like Hainbach, Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, Dopplereffekt and Danny Wolfers alias Legowelt are a big inspiration for me!

The Old Guitarist is Ramón Tontosanta, the reclusive Andalusian producer of the tracks for Andy Hill's little iTunes album, ANOTHER COUNTRY. Tontosanta is believed to live an austere, hermetic existence in the neolithic Hobbit caves on the island of Minorca, and come into civilization only to produce the occasional record. His touch is thought to be magical, although he can also be highly capricious. Whether any of the former influence made it into these tracks, you will have to judge. But Andy felt grateful enough for his efforts that he happily assigns all credit to him. Andy is now sequestered in Nashville, Tennessee, awaiting his next mission and eating lots of hot chicken.
