Somatik Sound System, founded by Perforated Cerebral Party finds its origins in 2011. Somatik’s first tracks were recorded as cover versions in tribute to John Balance from "Coil" (2004) & Klaus Nomi (2006). 
The idea of this music genre was to make dark and slow techno that will resemble a funeral march. These two so-called requiems have begun bearing in the form of Somatik Techno that flourished some time after both of its founders had a near-death experience: one from a heart attack as a result of a lasting rave lifestyle, while the other spent a week in coma because of a tranquilizers overdose after a bad trip. As a result, Vovapcp & Tsaritsa Logiki aka PCP, the creators of Somatik Techno, had to slow down and their music automatically decelerated together with them. 
More and more artists started to find this music experiment appealing with its heavy and “rusty” groove, dark melodics and rasping bass lines. Being originated in Saint-Petersburg, Somatik Techno started gaining followers across the Russian Federation and in Ukraine, Belarus, Finland and Ireland.
                     
Shortly after the Perforated Cerebral Party and Hertzman met in 2012, the idea to craft a new music label that will reach more people with its idiosyncratic concept emerged. 
Hertzman is a co-founder and a boss of the Somatik Sounds. From the beginning, he along with more than 30 artists from abroad have been popularizing Somatik Techno. He is also one of the biggest adepts of this music genre, constantly producing solo-releases and establishing collaborations. In general, the achievements of the label this is one the merits of Hertzman’s efforts.
Slow and dark minimal ambient, analog electronic music impending to downtempo or psychedelic dub with IDM elements to name a few, but the significant and driving essence for every release of this kind are hypnotic 90 BPM, techno beat and heavy bass tones. The main goal conceptualized by Hertzman is to achieve the best composition’s significance in its semantic origin and qualitative arrangement. Consequently, less and less releases by outsider artists are considered as they have no key tones of Somatik style recognized in their music.      
The creation of the cover’s design is another important aspect in this system of musical magic. The similarity with the chemical elements of the Mendeleev’s periodic table is easily recognized in the production. Currently, the artwork’s design was transformed a little to showcase the deeper theme of the music with the label logo as a trademark accompanying the release. In the last several years, the design reflects people whose faces are hidden by the Somatik Sounds label logo, with the opposing image of each of them conveying a psychedelic meaning for each record.

 BIO - NjHouseHead is the newest, rawest, diamond in the rough House Music producer bringing that true House Music flava with his fresh smooth funky vibe ! In the early 90's, Enjay was introduced to House Music when he began dancing and battling at local parties and clubs in Newark and New York City. He was influenced by presently renown Dj's such as Kerri Chandler, Todd Terry, Dj Disciple, Dj Dove,  Louie Vega, Kenny Dope, Tony Humphries, John Robinson, Pal Joey, and so many other Dj's who were in their prime in that golden 90's era of House. During that time Enjay was a featured dancer and extra on the television show, MTV's The Grind and really deep in the New York underground dance music club scene. As his love for house music grew and evolved, in 2000 Enjay went back to his roots as a musician and decided to create the music that he so much loved. After overcoming the obstacles of life, NjHouseHead is back and he is in the zone and ready to take the dance music world by storm !
