Back in 2011 a young Belgian DJ named Raving George stepped onto a Tomorrowland stage for the very first time after winning a local DJ contest. She’s been a household name ever since, even if she switched back from her alias to her given name, Charlotte de Witte, in the meantime.

She broke techno to the MainStage area and was the very first female DJ to close that same stage in 2022. Fast forward to 2025, and Charlotte, her name now firmly enshrined as global techno royalty, has become an unstoppable force in the electronic music scene.

This year marks a historic moment in her journey: opening the MainStage on Saturday morning with a thoroughly curated Daybreak Session, only to return that same night and close it out with an explosive finale.

From sunrise serenity to nocturnal euphoria, Charlotte painted the day in techno twice, crafting two very different yet beautifully connected musical moments. Kindly, she sat down with us to explain the contrasts and the confluences between two seemingly completely different moments.
