Sitar meets a Native American Flute

Inspired by our recent trip to Tecate Mexico and our time at Rancho La Puerta, we could feel the energies of the land and Kumeyaay tribe and shamans which guided these instrumentals intuitively. Echoes as though they were whispers from the ancients, speaking to us as they watch from the mountain top. The melodic expressions are reflections of shamanic and tribal messages from the ancient times as their spirits look upon us today...

Inspired by our time in Amorgos and Santorini, Greece... a meditation upon the reflections of the light of the sun and moon upon the Aegean Sea. The full moon evoked a yearning and the sun glistened across its waters both as a mystical dance of light. This is a new recording of Native American Flute and Spanish Guitar, really a meditation, as I attempt to capture and express these melodically in E-minor with reference tuned to A 432 Hz.

The melody of the guitar captures her playful and gentle ways and her unconditional and pure loving light. The flute represents our longing for her since her passing. The Koshi chime represents the clinging of her dog tags... she lives on as love and light in our hearts forever... Om Shanti Shanti Shanti, Om Sat Nam.

Dual gongs guide this meditative journey of emergence. The mood is one of yearning within an ethereal mist as the sounds and vibes intertwine in harmonies leading you to resolution as you emerge on the "other side". This is a blend of two gongs playing individually and simultaneously with an underlying Tanpura drone in the key of A (Ajna Chakra) providing the sonic intuition with the gentle bubbling waterfall of our koi pond in the distant background. These recordings are a combination of instrumentals including Spanish guitar, sitar, bass, crystal bowls, Native American flute, Bansuri flute, ocarina, harmonium, gongs, and chimes. All are original pieces, created  and performed by us. They may be played individually or in the playlists provided or make up your own combinations. 

Some of these are home recordings, which are organic, non-GMO and homegrown ;-),... so there may be some natural background sounds (e.g., our dog breathing or our Koi fish swimming).
