Joshua Renner (aka denot5 & tHe wReCk KiD) always stays true to his unique style of dark & aggressive Electronica. Josh started out as a Hardcore dj back in 1999 and quickly found himself immersed in the UK Acid/Techno/schranz sound shortly there after when he lived in Louisville, KY from 2000-2001. While in KY he made a name for himself under the alias 'dj sloppy thirds' and shared the stage with international acts from all across the globe.
After moving back to Wisconsin in the spring of 2001 he dropped the alias 'dj sloppy thirds' and 'denot5' was born. The moniker denot5 took Josh places he never thought possible. He continued to push the boundaries with his live dj sets while constantly evolving with the music of the times.
In the mid 2000's Josh expanded his sound by dabbling in break beats as well as d&b/jungle and breakcore. Around this time Josh also started spinning strictly schranz/hardcore sets under the alias 'tHe wReCk KiD'.
Fast forward to the present and it's a no-brainer that Josh has once again evolved with the music around him and is now one of the Midwest's most sought after BASS music DJ's. The styles he currently represents in his live sets are drum and bass, dubstep, drumstep, breakbeats and crossbreed/hardcore.
