Black Rings Under My Eyes est le projet solo de Baptiste Malgoire (Supernaive, Standard). Influencé par l'IDM et la culture UK tout en restant très libre, son univers est éclectique et coloré. Il a sorti son premier album ""Unknown Phenomena"" sur Standard Records en 2021 et l'EP ""GAMBLER"" chez Luud Disc il y a un mois.

Zone of Elusive Meanings is a new show on @radio-relativa that explores creative processes and methodologies of various electronic musicians and sound artists. The purpose of the show is to draw attention to the fact that the creative practice of musicians and sound artists is not limited to the tracks they have released or polished projects they have published. It focuses on pushing the boundaries of the genres by creating a safe space for the artists to present their innovative ideas. 

In each episode, I invite 2 artists and ask them to produce a sound collage out of their unfinished sketches, sound works, and anything that lies at the intersection of music, sound art, and field recordings. In this sense, it acts as an acknowledgment of a creative process that has taken place.

The show will help these unfinished ideas to find a new context, and also will indicate that this part of the creative process, not only deserves attention and study but also has an artistic value.

In the first episode you can find sound collages by @nexcyia and @thegurinbabayeu.

NEXCYIA is the musical alias of Adam Dove, an African-American/French sound artist and ambient musician. His artistic practice exists in between installation, painting, moving imagery, and sound art, delving into the concepts of alienation and the feeling of otherness in the African-American experience.

Where Hassell focused on creating ritual music of potential societies that _didn't_ exist; Ian Kim Judd seeks to evoke the notion of potential utopian societies that _could_ exist. In these times of global instability and uncertainty, Fifth World seeks to posit an alternative, with scenes from an optimistic future.
