Hausjacker and Kris O'Neil take up the remixing of Patrick Hagenaar’s epic vocal trance banger with the sizzling vocals of Sarah McLeod. Hausjacker transforms the track into a thumping house number, while Kris O'Neil created a symphonic trance version of the original. Both remixes are certainly worth a listen!
 
Patrick's biography condenses his decade long career in a very straightforward fashion, stating: “with DJ gigs across the globe , a weekly worldwide radio show and DJ’s such as David Guetta, Axwell & Erick Morillo using his tracks and remixes as their floor destroyers, alongside chart topping productions released with major dance labels around the world, Patrick Hagenaar is a fast rising Dutch star that can’t seem to do wrong!” Back in 1999, Patrick moved to London to start off his DJ career. Since then he became a major player in the dance industry. Returning to the Magik Muzik imprint for his new single "Magik", Patrick Hagenaar adds another sure shot to his career.
 
Sarah McLeod is the former front woman of Australian rock band The Superjesus. Sarah is one of the best recognized women in the Australian music scene and is known for her enthusiastic and unique stage presence. She already has three ARIA awards and over 300,000 record sales to her name and has featured as vocalist on a wide variety of electronic dance hits.

Taken from his pan-genre ‘Same Difference’ long-player, here comes the next single testimony from Russian electronic dance don Bobina. Following the orchestra-driven euphoria of ‘Sacramentum’, the trance-noir of uber-deep ‘Basque The Dog’ and the infectious house elevation of ‘Miami Echoes’, he expands the album’s range again. Featuring the vocals of the infinitely talented Ana Criado, here comes the much anticipated ‘For Who I Am’. 

Kicking off ‘For Who I Am’s single release, Bobina himself has expanded the album’s original into a stunning mood-fused Extended version. With the intro’s long held sweeping notes setting its tone, he laces it masterfully with pianoforte lines and the deep LFO throb of its bassline. 

Having previously sung on releases by some of electronic music’s biggest names (W&W, Markus Schulz Armin van Buuren and Alex M.O.R.P.H. being just a few), Holland’s Ana Criado sweeps the track floor-bound. With its moving theme of unfulfilled love providing its emotional core, Bobina brings the steel, with an incising leadline, which takes the track out of the dark and dazzlingly into the light. 

To do full justice to one of ‘Same Difference’s numerous highlights, Magik Muzik have lined up a comparably impressive remix-rank to take the track to pastures new. 

Estonia’s Beat Service furthers ‘For Who I Am’ trance-progressive ends. Sonorously maximizing the reach of Criado’s voice, he balances the song’s pathos with melodic sequences and punch-packing drums.

Sneijder & Bryan Kearney are two names already known for pushing the faster edged sound. After deciding to hit the studio together 'Proper Order' was born. A fusion of classic trance with new skool production skills 'Proper Order' has been settingdancefloors on fire over the last few months.

The track takes you back to the golden days of trance, with a simple but effective euphoric melody with some great acid elements. All this builds with a classic tech trance sound using nice plucks and classic synths before unleashing after the main climax.

The high voltage ‘Electricity’ kicks things off with the sensational voice of Anabel Englund leading the way. The deep, slow grooves ride effortlessly through the track with a breath-taking break down filled with electric bolts and melodic synth keys.

‘Goodnight Moon’ is the second on offer from Lee and Marc and boasts a heavy bass, beautiful synths patterns and infectious groove. The atmosphere in the track is filled with layers of intricate percussions and luscious melodies, while the interesting vocals make this really stand out from the rest.

Over on the B-side Lee takes the reins with ‘Could Be’, effortlessly swarming the mind with soaring synths, soft R n’B style vocals and lo-slung driving bass lines, while the trippy keys are destined to hypnotize you on the dancefloor.

Chris Spero (otherwise known as UK house and techno producer Glimpse) and Hypercolour co-founder and producer, Alex Jones, return once again as Dense & Pika to the Hotflush fold with ‘Move Your Body Back.’

Having crept out of the shadows back in 2011 with a collection of white labels released through their own eponymous imprint, Dense & Pika went on to bolster their rising profile with the release of their Hotflush debut (‘Crispy Duck') which landed late last year as well as with their memorable live set at Hotflush's recent Boiler Room Takeover. 

There is nothing chin-strokingly complicated or needlessly over-worked about their productions. They make interesting techno aimed at the dance floor and ‘Move Your Body Back,’ continues with this central aesthetic. The three track EP plunders percussive depths by way of stern machine rhythms, swollen low-end grit and the echoing, anthemic elements of warehouse rave techno.

The title track of the EP may already be familiar to many having appeared on their Resident Advisor podcast in March and is already being played out by Maya Jane Coles, Boddika and Adam Beyer, amongst others.
