I released this now as I feel we could all do with a bit of positivity. It's easy to look at the world and think it's heading for hell in a hand-basket!....But...look at nature and it reaches for light and life....what if deep down we are the same? It's instinctive within us to look for the good stuff!.....To reach for the light that gives us life.....however you want to label that. Yeah we can block it out, we have that choice but  the light of life will keep drawing us in.

LAST TO KNOW

Digital Dust. From the album, "Enigmatic Blues". This is the story of a road trip I undertook a few years back in the states. Playing in Fortworth, Antones, Austin, and Clarksdale etc. along the way. The title comes from an idea that we have all these experiences, write songs about it then put it out and it ends up on various platforms gathering digital dust.....as opposed to gathering actual dust on a record shelf!

A fusion of sound....not exactly classical, not exactly prog or rock. Creates an atmosphere of tension and release.

Iceland

This song was written on tour in Poland. Our driver had a girlfriend who continually talked about UFO's and other strange phenomenon. I started to think about home and looked forward to the place I knew well in the UK. One night after a late night chat I wrote this song.

All Rise

This track began on the piano and I kept building it, playing all the instruments....and it grew into epic proportions! The initial idea is the age old human dilemma, "There must be more than this". Longing to transcend the mundane....Instinctively believing that we are designed for destiny and reaching out for it. I dragged my old buddy Gary Hunt in on backing vocals to add to the experience! :)

Keith Thompson is a professional musician with many years of experience. He has worked in several bands and as a solo artist. He has travelled extensively in the UK as well as in European countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Holland, Poland, Norway and also the USA. When not touring or playing “live”, Keith has been in demand as a session musician and writer in the studio. His guitar work has cropped up on several albums and as incidental music on television. A sample of Keith’s guitar work can also be heard as the soundtrack for the best-selling computer game, “Grand-Prix 2” and “Over The Hedge” from the blockbuster movie of the same name. He has sold over 100.000 albums and his library music projects include work for BMG, Wetton-Westgram, Music Masters and many others.
