バンド、ロック、ポップスなど様々なシーンから注目を集めるカキモトナオによるソロプロジェクト[.que]（キュー）。
初のミニアルバム作品として届けられる今作は[.que]自身が作詞、作曲、編曲、プロデュースのすべてをこなした「光」を追い求めたフォークトロニカとロックの融合と言うべき作品に仕上がった。
これまでインストゥルメンタル作品を多く発表してきた彼が「歌」「言葉」と向き合った純音楽たちは優しくもダイナミックなバンドサウンドと交わり、これまでのルーツを感じさせつつも新しい彼の音楽の方向性を示すであろうフレッシュな作品となった。
ゲストミュージシャンとしてヴォーカルに岩田真知（aquarifa）、ベースに松藤裕志 （Rhycol.）、ドラムに水口彰太（LOOPPOOL / December 他）、ヴァイオリンに青柳萌を迎え制作された。
レコーディングエンジニアにYogee New Waves、never young beach、ペトロールズ、踊ってばかりの国、髭などを手掛けるhmcの池田洋、マスタリングにはこれまでの[.que]の作品に多数関わってきたRallye Labelからのリリースで知られるOne Day DiaryのIEDAが担当。アートワークにはinstagramにて世界的にも高い評価を得るフォトグラファー国分真央が担当している。
同時リリースのフルアルバム「Nightfall」とは対照的で力強くも繊細な[.que]の新しい世界観に浸ってほしい。

徳島県出身。幼少期よりギターを独学で学び2010年より[.que]として本格的に活動を開始。同年ピアノとDTMに触れ始める。
フォークトロニカの新星として活動初期より注目され『sigh』 (2012/embrace)、『calm down』(2012/introducing!)を立て続けに発表。
名門レーベルSCHOLEより発表された『drama』(2013/schole)は世界的にも 大きな賞賛を浴びた。
その後も『water's edge』(2014/schole)、『Brilliant Hopes』(2015/schole)を発表。
常に「今、鳴らしたい音」を表現し続けている。
近年ではインストゥルメンタル作品のみならず、作詞作曲編曲のすべてを 手掛け、枠に捕われない自身の音楽性を発揮している。 
作品のみならずTVCMや企業広告等の音楽も多く手掛け、その活動は多岐 に渡り様々なコラボレーションを行っている。 
エレクトロニカ、アンビエントシーンのみならずロック、ポップスシーン からも注目が集まる中、2016年10月「Nightfall」「Daylight」の二作を自主 レーベルembraceより同時リリース。
バンドルーツを感じさせる楽曲、パフォーマンスに魅了される人も多く、 さらなる活躍が期待される音楽家である。

Well there we go, another EP :)! This one is a bit different than the last one, its not lofi, its not rly hiphopbeatthingwhateveryouwannacallit, its more subtle, more ambient and melancholic I guess. It's more of a personal album, as it does showcase some different emotional stages that I have gone through in the last couple of months, it has been a rollercoaster and it still kind of is, but oh well.
In any case, hope you enjoy these tracks. And I hope they appeal to a larger audience, and I especially hope that some people can relate to these tracks, and maybe even find some sort of comfort in at least one of them. PEACEEEEEEE
