In 1986, DJ King Dave started mixing House music in Chicago,IL, with a few friends in the basement of his parent’s home. This led to playing at block parties, local basement parties and then onto college parties. Dave was influenced by Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Emanuel Pippen, K. Alexi Shelby, Mike Dunn and many others.  In 1990, while in college, King Dave was able to land a DJ slot on the college radio station and played all of the hottest House music coming out on wax!  Dave left Chicago and moved to Atlanta in 1994 and stopped mixing until 2015 when his ultra-supportive wife, along with two childhood friends  (DJ Unk J and DJ Tazofa of 740 Productions) encouraged him to pick up his passion again. Having to learn an entirely new technology, DJ King Dave took his love for House music and regained momentum in sharing his passion for mixing good music.
