I decided to put a playlist together, so I'm going into my bag and putting these older tracks together. シーンを震撼させた『 Blunted Monkey Fist 』から約４年のインターバルを経てリリースされる、2ndアルバム『The Corner』は、盟友5lack、ISSUGIら日本のMCと切り開くBudaの新境地。
その顔ぶれは、5lack / DJ SCRATCH NICE / EVISBEATS / ISSUGI / jjj / KOJOE / mabanua / MCKOMICKLINICK / MONJU / OYG / PUNPEE / Sick Teamと、現在のヒップホップをリードするヤバい奴ら。
2015年のヒップホップ・シーンを揺るがす衝撃作が遂に完成！

BudaMunk Profile :
BudaMunk ( ブダモンク )。新宿生まれ。16歳でLos Angelesに渡り、後にDJやビートメイクを始める。2004年に、現在Delicious Vinyl周辺で活躍するMC / ビートメイカーのJoe Styles、OYG(Down North Camp)と、Keentokersとしての活動を開始。Keentokersとしては、Live Radioなどと共にSoul Jugglerz というクルーを結成し、LAアンダーグラウンドのステージで活躍。BudaMunk個人としても、Dibia$eら現在世界のビートシーンを牽引する、当時のローカルプロデューサーとビートセッションを重ね、LAでのビートバトルで日本人として初の優勝を勝ち取る。2006年に帰国後、Jazzy Sportに所属。現在の日本国内のビートシーンにも多大なる影響を与えたビートバトル” Goldfinger's Kitchen 2008 ”での優勝に輝く。その後、Jazzy SportやDogear Recordsからの作品をリリースし、現在はSick Teamとして活動を共にする5lack ( S.L.A.C.K. )やISSUGIとのプロダクション、自身のソロの作品を発表。2011年以降は、Sick Teamの衝撃的なデビューを背景に、mabanuaとのユニット・Green Butterとして作品を発表し、企業CMの音楽を担当する傍ら、さらに深いアンダーグラウンドな動きも活発化させ活動の幅を広げてきた。そして、海外プロデューサーとのセッション、ビートメイクを繰り返し、2014年には日本に居ながらにしてLos Angeles時代の夢でもあった、USの老舗レーベルDelicious Vinylからのリリースを行った。今年2015年にBudaMunkのソロ名義として2nd ALBUMとなる『 The Corner 』 をリリースする。

This remix has been recreated based on Pete Rock's own remixed version of Nas' Street Dreams. He played his version a few times on the Future Flavas radio show with Marley Marl back in the 90s, but we never heard it again. That is until the recent release of PR's Return of the SP1200 where he blessed us with the Street Dreams instrumental. Taking that instrumental from the LP, and matching the acapella from Nas' Street Dreams remix to it, I've recreated Pete Rock's remix as close to his as possible. Enjoy.
