Tronic has a 20-30 year long history with releasing melodic house and techno. While we opted for the more raw sound in the past few years, Christian wanted to go back to his roots and produce more emotive, groovy, and melodic house and techno again. Lamour Toujours is a progressive groover that has a disco-influenced bassline and adds an emotive chord progression in the break. We asked Argentinean legend Hernan Cattaneo to make a remix. As a long time supporter of Tronic we felt that he would be a great candidate for this remix. Hernan Cattaneo and Kevin Di Serna teamed up and delivered a stunning remix focusing on the melodic chord progression of the original! To finish this release, we asked Tokyo-based Frenchman Vantage to give his New Disco touch to the track. We are very proud of this release and hope you support it!

Hello and welcome to our first PFG Progcast of 2021! This year as we rapidly head towards our first birthday, The Progcast aims to bring you more exclusive music, from new places we haven't visited yet, and the best DJs we can find to play it. Kicking off proceedings we head to Argentina for the first time, a country steeped in Progressive House. We've selected a DJ/Producer well known to many, but not enough in our opinion!  PFG give it up, for Javier Benitez!

Javier Benitez lives in Mar del Plata, Argentina and its here he began playing music in bars from an early age.

In 2007 when he was becoming more well known he started organising an underground party called "Groove Paradise" with his friends. Once he played a marathon 10 hour set! After this he started playing in the main clubs in his home town like Sobremontë, Chocolate, Gap and Pueblo Limited. At these clubs DJs like Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Sasha, Satoshi Tomiie and others come to play for the summer season and Javier learned and followed all of them. He has also warmed up for some topDJs like Marc Poppcke, Ioan Gamboa and Scotty A. 

In December 2013 he started his own Radio show called "From The Other Side" on Golden Wings Music Argentina.  As 2014 began so did an amazing roster of Guest DJ's for the show. Nick Muir, Dave Seaman, Jimmy Van M, Robert Babicz, Charlie May, Barry Jamieson, Anthony Pappa, Gabriel Ananda, Chris Fortier, Dousk, Lexicon Avenue,  Einmusik ,TILT, Jody Wisternoff,  Rodriguez Jr, and lots more! Some time late, with his amazing guests, he started to work as an Artistic Manager for the same radio station.

In 2016 Javier started producing music with his partner John Joseph on amazing labels like Pro B-Tech Records. Their first EP together Called "Grooving Acid" came with an immense remix from the legend of Progressive house scene, Moshic. 

2017 was also an intense year, it was now that Nick Muir started to support Javier and Johns music, playing them at different gigs and  on his radio shows! Just a year later Javier's dreams were fulfilled when he and John produced an EP called Our Rock" which was remixed by Nick Muir!!
Today Javier continues to make and play music to a widening global audience, including us, as the FIRST Argentine DJ to play on our Podcast. Enjoy the mix.

Imagine a young DepGlobe, just 8 years old, whose world revolved around the enchanting Dutch radio shows like "The Rock and Roll Method." In the blink of an eye, he became an ardent disciple of musical legends such as Gene Vincent, Elvis, and The Beatles. The year 1981 witnessed his first affair with vinyl ecstasy, a 12" single that none other than New Order's "Everything's Gone Green." But his musical journey was far from ordinary, for luminaries like Patrick Cowley and Giorgio Moroder had already begun weaving their enigmatic influence into his soul during the early '80s.

Fast forward to 1983, when a fire was ignited within DepGlobe, thanks to the trailblazing Ben Liebrand. He embarked on a thrilling odyssey, crafting his own magnetic mixes with a "cut and paste" finesse that ignited high school parties, and soon, the DJ decks at student gatherings. Between 1998 and 2003, he unveiled a symphonic tapestry across three different genres: ClubSession 1-7, GlobalTrance 1-6. But the evolution didn't stop there. Influenced by the likes of John Creamer, Stephane K, Lemon8, and Deep Dish, he birthed his Massive Progressive Series 1-6, generously sharing his sonic creations among his closest friends.

As the years unfurled, DepGlobe's musical persona crystallized into the breathtaking realm of Progressive. Yet, his favorite tracks remain a delightful enigma—progressive techno, pure progressive, techno, tech house, or deep house? Since 2011, DepGlobe's musical magic has graced the digital airwaves of SoundCloud. Following the release of his mesmerizing Lowlands Series, he inaugurated "DepGlobe's NoEgo Sounds" in November 2011. His charismatic presence resonates on the frequencies of United Radio, InsomaniaFM, Frisky Radio, and several other radio shows, not to mention electrifying gigs at pulsating Techno and Deep House soirées.
