DEPTH DEATH embodies my two primary musical influences; dub reggae - the depth, the bass, meditation, ponderous, serious, the dance - and heavy metal - the death, the darkness, memento mori, dramatic, gothic, the mosh pit -, with aesthetic and design sensibilities reflected in the close symmetry between the letters in the two words depth and death, and a bit of self-aware cheekiness (a tongue twister of a name takes the edge off).
