Having stepped into fourth year of existence the factory of Depth.Request manufactures an article in form of an EP titled "Night Wounds Time" produced by British-born underground scene veteran Mahk Rumbae under the guise antechamber, which—in slight contrast to his arguably better known alias Codex Empire—he ostensibly reserves for a more dysfunctional brand of electronic music intended as much for frantic terpsichorean participation as for contemplating the inevitable under the gloom of moonless nights. In line with offbeat nature of sounds presented, the release gives a subtle nod to Tom Phillips' literary oeuvre "A Humument", borrowing its name and track titles from the lines within the idiosyncratic book.

As the listener takes a step In The Vaulted Hall they are greeted with suspenseful arcs of ambiance joined expediently by metal-clad armies of charged polyrhythms that paint a picture that constitute an equally brutalist and intriguing entry.
For Blic Adula things aren't any less raucous, its direction switched to halftime tech-n-bass with obfuscation of primary leads and stronger accentuation on tribal aesthetics.
Coming off as the most dancefloor-friendly item on the track list, Unknown Junction merges ceaseless droning with shrilling pads and sandy hi-hats with stridently whamming kicks, coming down to a piece best described as witch techno.
With Rhetoric of Ruin, the immediate acceleration of elephantine kicks arranged in tight sets of five is startling to say the least, and the tonal drums relentlessly accompanying them stand out among the other percussive militia in a manner that befits the primal theme of the track faultlessly.
Thick drones that stretch broadly over the bluntly and ruthlessly thudding low-range percs with tails of tom drums echoing in their wake accompanied by rapid-fire hats make together what can be expected to find On the Borders of Shadow—six-tracker's penultimate piece.
Putting a more linear spin on the opener, French noisemaker YURA YURA evidently throws an EMP grenade straight In The Vaulted Hall, which results in levels of distortion rough enough to challenge the auditory sensors of even highly seasoned industrial music fiends.

C'est le trio Horzh, que l'on a pu apercevoir lors du Festival Visions en 2019, qui nous propose un E.P aux influences multiples et au ton résolument industriel. WAH.XXVI nous donne l'impression de cogner nos têtes contre des tuyaux, et les rythmes effrénés nous font divaguer dans de sombres méandres.

EN: Direction to mysterious lands for this first E.P on the new Brest's label, Chiens Sans Colliers (@csc-records). It's the trio, Horzh, that we had the chance to discover at Visions Festival in 2019, that offers an E.P with multiple influences, with an absolutely industrial undertone. WAH.XXVI gives us the impression that we are banging our head against pipes, and the frantic rhythms make us wander in dark meanders.
