The comeback of our mixtape sessions is finally here! Music has always been a passion of ours and a big part of the creative environment we surround ourselves with. So it was only a matter of time ‚till we bounce back with another beater. Now it’s finally here: We teamed up with young talented musician and beat connaisseur FloFilz and streetwear’s primary rock Carhartt WIP to create this exclusive experience.

For the 4th Edition of our series Flo compiles a variety of unreleased material, exclusive remixes and classic instrumental hip hop to 50 minutes of Teacup Trouble. When the leaves turn brown we all like to spend a cold dark autumn evening inside a warm cozy home with our hands wrapped around a good cup of tea. But at the same damn time there’s trouble going on outside. Drug dealing, drive-bys, hustle. That real gangster sh*t. Teacup Trouble combines both worlds into one great piece of music.

To complete our project we partnered with Carhartt WIP to create a unique Bundle including a T-Shirt, a Teacup, good Tea, Special Packaging and for the first time in our young mixtape session history an actual tape.

2016 #15: Saetchmo - Horizontal tanzen

...I'm really excited to upload my first song I wrote in my life. I'm a folk performer and I don't sing such kind of music on stage, but I'm a big fan of dub and reggae. Inspiration has come to me last summer and I recorded it at once, but I didn't feel like sharing it publicly for more than one year. 

Don't know why but I woke up with this song in my head this morning and after a cup of coffee I decided to let it find a cozy place here.

It's totally homemade and I should say I'm really not good with sound engineering and don't have any skills of making music like this. So it's a miracle for me that I combined some parts together and made this. :)

The instrumental melody is an interpretation of Scientist "Jah Loves All Aliens" which I asked my friend Girių dvasios (https://soundcloud.com/giriu-dvasios) to remake and the lyrics are written by me.

Three months after I wrote this song I packed a huge bagpack and left to the very North of Europe - hitchhiked to Lapland and NorthCape to become totally free from everything I got used to and just to wander with hundreds of reindeers, huskies and some birds who stayed there for winter. To listen for the wind. To see Northern Lights. To find happiness in freezing beauty. It required a lot of resolve, courage and patience. 
Maybe that's why this experimental piece of music is so important for me. The song made me stronger and more self-confident. I found a cure.

Heute präsentieren wir euch den ersten Teil unserer neuen Episodengeschichte. Weltenbummler Simon Rucker stellt damit unter Beweis, dass er neben tollen Reiseberichte auch spannende Dramen auf Lager hat. Eingerahmt wird das Geschehen vom Duo „Meer hören“, die den dramatischen Abgang des Protagonisten nicht nur durch ihren Namen treffend verarbeitet haben, sondern dessen Kampf mit dem nassen Element auch wunderbar musikalisch inszeniert haben.

Die Zeichen standen auf Unheil. Ich habe versäumt, sie richtig zu deuten. Heute weiß ich mehr. Bis heute ist viel Zeit vergangen. Juni 2017, am Flughafen habe ich einen Bourbon mit Coke getrunken. Ich erinnere mich äußerst genau daran. Durch die Panoramafenster war das Flimmern über dem Flugfeld zu sehen. Dunstig verschwammen die tropischen Hügel in der Ferne. Durstig spülte ich mit der Flüssigkeit die Wehmut des Abschieds herunter. Die Hitze des späten Nachmittags war dort im maschinell heruntergekühlten Innern des Flughafens nur noch der klebrige Film auf meiner Haut. Hinter mir lagen anstrengende Tage. Meinen Anzug hatte ich zugunsten leichter Chinos und eines tief ausgeschnittenen T-Shirts in mein Gepäck verstaut. 
Wann wo was aus dem Ruder gelaufen ist, vermag ich nicht zu sagen. Irgendwas hatte in der drückenden Luft gelegen. Flug AB2-83 nach Stuttgart bitte zu Ausgang 27. Keine weiteren Bourbons mit Coke. Zahlen bleiben mir gut im Gedächtnis. Ich stellte mir vor, wer meine Begleiter in den Tod sein würden, hätte das Flugzeug abstürzen sollen. Irgendwie fiel es mir leichter, wenn ich jemanden entdeckte, den ich schön fand. Ich ahnte nicht, welche Wirklichkeit meine Gedanken bald haben sollten. 
Den stinkenden schwitzenden Kerl auf dem Sitz neben mir hasste ich vom Moment an, in dem er sich neben mir in die Polster fallen ließ. Ich weiß genau, was diese Art Mann in dieser Art Land macht und ich hasse es. Schmierige Geschäfte und billige Nutten. Er lächelte mir zu. Meinte wohl, wir wären irgendwie verbunden. Weil wir Männer sind? Wenn es das ist, was Männer ausmacht, dann will ich keiner mehr sein.
Draußen schob sich langsam die Umgebung am rollenden Flugzeug vorbei. Palmen hinter Maschendrahtzaun mit Stacheldrahtkrone. In den scharfen Spitzen hatten sich Müll und unglückliches Vogelgetier verfangen. Die Beschleunigung drückte mich in den Sitz. Ich bestellte Bourbon mit Coke, versuchte den schwitzenden Kerl nicht zu berühren und las Thomas Bernhard.
Draußen fiel die Dämmerung über die Welt herab wie ein Stein in tiefes Wasser. Das Rauschen der Klimaanlage und das gedämpfte Licht der Kabine erleichterten mir das Einschlafen. Was später vor sich ging, ist schwer zu begreifen. Vermutlich habe ich es irgendwie verkraftet, weil ich zu dem Zeitpunkt, als ich erwachte und die unerfreulichen Umstände begriff, unter denen der Rest meiner Reise nun wohl stattfinden würde, schon ziemlich einen sitzen hatte.
Jedenfalls war das erste, was ich bemerkte, nachdem ich wieder zu mir kam, dass es still war. Viel stiller, als ich gedacht hätte...

This experiment was inspired by Lithuanian polyphonic folk song SUTARTINĖ "Mėtaujėla mėtaujo". I only used my live instruments: violin, ancient drum, bells and traditional Lithuanian instrument KANKLĖS. Recorded them and made this - some strange combination of folk and dub.
All sounds you hear are coming from real instruments I play.

Special thanks to Nerijus Laukaitis, who helped me with combining them all together. 
Maybe someday there will be a longer version of this.
