Consisted of Lier & Texture, a mighty Galician-Andalusi connection in charge of one of the most explosive collectives and parties: Ego-Trip. Truly diggers and top record spinners, an honor to host them on our mix series. 

This podcast was recorded live at festival Jaleo Real last summer (2023), an idyllic retreat in Ávila, and it goes without saying that it was in our humble opinion one of the top sets, on a carefully selected trip all the way from funk, balearic, world, hip-hop to the roots of house.

If you sit down, you better shake it.

Turned out to be a deep session – my fellow @shush_dance brother @monksdreem brought his MPC300 (& more...) to twist up energies with a fierce live set, afterwards I spun some heavy hitters. Set split into two parts.

This set drifts between minimalism and moody, driving deep techno, capturing the essence of late-night introspection and forward motion. It’s the perfect soundtrack to slip into the new year with locked grooves, shadowy textures and immersive atmospheres.

In music, a pensato (Italian: «thought») is a composed imaginary note, a written note which is neither played nor heard. That's quite a funny little concept, isn't it? Maybe it's also an excuse for Italians who are too lazy to play their instruments. But that doesn’t mean Italians are lazy per se! Oh my god, where have I gotten myself into? That's exactly why I don't like to think too much. I, for one, like to play my notes the way they are supposed to be played: loud and through a trainload of crunchy effects. Maybe that's what this track is about – or maybe it isn't. It's best to just imagine a meaning and not overthink it, trust me.
